The poor you have with you always… _Jesus

Mother Teresa once said, “Today it is fashionable to talk about the poor.  Unfortunately, few people actually talk to the poor.”

You don’t feed the poor because you hope to eradicate poverty.  You do it because you care about a poor person.

When you go to the doctor your hope is not to be an experiment that will help find the cure for some major disease, your hope is the doctor will care about you.

When your child comes home with a masterpiece of art that they personally colored especially for you, they didn’t have being the next Rembrandt in mind, they had you in mind. (That’s why it is a masterpiece…at least to you.)

Cooking with love for your family doesn’t qualify you for an appearance on a popular cooking show, but it sure makes you a hero at home.
