I really need help with an assignment. Can some one who understands the Trinity provide me with 2 scriptures that explain it and tell me how they explain it? I can find the scriptures but no explanation?

Start with two that leads to three. How is Jesus fully God and man. Start with His virgin birth. Matt 1:18. …”to be with child of the Holy Spirit.”
Same in Luke 1:35. This relates to Genesis 3:15 and the seed of the woman. I am sure you can find scripture that show His deity, the great I am. -

The Trinity is already revealed at the very beginning of the Bible. Genesis 1:1-3. Verse 1 God creates. Verse 2 the Spirit of God is mentioned. Verse 3 God commands Jesus ‘Let there be light.’ Jesus would later on say in the NT ‘I am the light of the world.’

There are many but you only asked for 2 so let me jump in despite it looking like you have more than enough help already posted. Gen. 1:26 and Matt.3:16-17. I think they are pretty easy to understand if not just let me know. Note that they are the same in essence or nature, but distinct in personhood which they all have.

Depends on who you’re up against. Verses that prove the trinity to a Muslim, won’t work on unitarian. Verses that prove the trinity to a Jehovah witness, won’t work on a Oneness Pentecostal.

There is a plurality in God thoughout the Scriptures.. Even at the beginning (Genesis), It says “God created the heavens and the earth. And the SPIRIT OF GOD was hovering over the surface..” Then on verse 26 – “God said, “Let US make human beings, in OUR image, to be like US.” Skip to Gen 3:8 it says “the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden.” -? If God is spirit, Does Spirit walk? In Isaiah 44;6- God says “I am the first and the last” – “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel,

Besides Me there is no God.” — Then check Revelation 1:18 and Revelation 22:13 – God calls himself “Alpha & Omega, First & Last, Beginning and End” — & in Rev 1:18 you can see it is Jesus when he says “I am the first and the last, the Living one, I was dead and behold i am alive forevermore…” — In Isaiah 48: 16 – you can see the Triune Character of God — “Draw near to me, hear this: from the beginning I have not spoken in secret, from the time it came to be I have been there.” And now the Lord GOD (FATHER) has sent me (SON), and his Spirit (HOLY SPIRIT). — The Second person of the Trinity is speaking here – The Son. You can also see their oneness & perfect unity. There’s just so many… Psalm 2 is also full of theology & talks about the Messiah/The Son. -
The word Trinity is a pagan on , sin worshipers, Sun God- Nimrod, godess (Semerimisi – Madonna) Mother and the son God of the sun (Tammuzi).
God is praural , Genesis 1:26. In 1 Peter 5: 7. Clearly states that God the Father, the word (Jesus- 1John 1:1-3), and the Holy Spirit are One. (Godhead not Trinity) Paganism religion is still practiced among Christians now, it is in Church to win God’s people. There is spiritual Babylon now. -
To you that believe the Trinity I have one question, my father who is Spirit who is also holy who is also the optimum of creative genius would find it necessary to send some other agent to come up on Mary to be get his son for him? If you wanted a son would you send some other man to come up on your wife-to-be get your son for you? Absolutely not, so why would you think my father would? The Holy Spirit and the father are one in the same. That is why the holy spirit is not mentioned in St John 17 verse 11 and 21 where we do have a description of the godhead, we know this description is complete because Jesus uses the word one, but notice he does not use the word one in the context of a numerical value but in the context of perpetuity. We ourselves are begotten of the same father oh, you cannot be born of God if you are not first begotten of God.
