If a country A has more practicing Christians (edit: per capita) than counrty B, would you expect country A to have a lower crime rate?

No because more Christians doesn’t mean less non Christians. USA for example is massive and for all the Christians there’s many more millions that aren’t. A smaller nation with less Christians will also have less atheists or other people that might commit crime

In short, it depends on the percentage rather than the total for a valid comparison. And also depends on the law enforcement including corruption.
Generally, Muslims with higher percentage countries have very strict laws will have even lower crime rates than countries with higher percentage of practicing Christians. Not because they are ‘holier’ but because of the strict law enforcement.

I would hope so but it’s not the case.
Just because someone “practice’s Christianity” does not make them a follower of Christ.

Too many unknowns. We would need to know the per capita of Christians to the overall population. We’d need to know what kind of laws there are. Is the government hostile toward Christians or supportive?

If there are more practicing Christians in North Korea or probably an Islamic country then the crime rate would be higher there because it’s a crime there to have a Bible

If a country has a higher “ratio” of believers to non-believers, yes.
Unfortunately, there is really no way to determine this because everybody why says they believe don’t really believe. I wouldn’t put it past a person who is “playing church” to commit crimes.

The question would be rephrased to more true and transformed Christians. Number alone is not an indicator.

Not exactly. To predict the regularity of crime cannot be determined by the populace of Christians. Where people are , crime is sure to happen. No one can predict the more or less. Unless there are strict rules and laws governing all the population and enforced. Crime is the business of the government and not the population of Christians I the locations.
