If people knew and studied church history they would know and see how these ugly damning heresies in thier various forms were already refuted … Satan only seems to have so many lies … He just puts them in different forms … It is sad that we are still battling them because most have no interest and feel that the proverbial wheel needs to be reinvented every generation … They have no respect for historic creeds and confessions which are the greatest guard against heresy entering into the church … A church that does not know history is doomed to battle these heresies over and over again … Same ugly heads rearing up … wearing different masks !

You are right the same old heresies bedeviling the early churches,is still here dogging the present church but in a modern style, except you know church history you won’t know.

When I hear about church history it is most often Catholics calling Protestants heretics
The funny thing is that Catholics are the ones who have strayed far from biblical Christianity.a case of the pot calling the kettle black
Original Christians as seen in the book of acts was not the behemoth religion in huge cathedrals
But small groups of Christians
The early church of the book of acts
Had no Graven Images because most of the first Christians came out of Judaism
And for a Jew to have Graven Images was impossible unless they held to the teachings of Balaam
In the Book of Revelation chapter 2 we see the genesis of the catholic religion
