  1. John Maya Sr. says:

It would prove intelligence is still required to create life.

  2. Rob Williams says:

I think it would provide a lot of circumstantial evidence in favor of intelligent design

  3. John Maya Sr. says:

What they don’t realize is they need to create their own materials. You don’t get to use God’s materials and claim you created something.

  4. Patrick Matthew Parisi says:

    Not in the least

  5. Chris Krumlauf says:

No, because they are using things that already exist.

  6. David Butler says:

Intelligent Designs’ chief argument isn’t that everything is designed, only that some things are designed.

The logic of this advertising approach is that they’re quite aware that arguments from ignorance are the only things that can work on an ignorant person.

They don’t care for trying to support why/how a rock is also designed. They need a ‘wow’ factor that will impress people, so they point to things that seem complex to humans

But it’s not enough to just make glitzy arguments

1940’s, John von Neumann proposed a von Neumann probe/machine—the ultimate machine which has never be built. It would be self-sustaining, self-repairing, and self-reproducing.
Imagine a car which you never had to fill up or charge, it just drew from its environment what it needed and ran indefinitely. Imagine this car repairing its own damages, tires, brakes, transmission, etc… Imagine this car producing two other cars in your garage one night.
This is precisely what every single cell on our planet does.

    Von Neumann said of cells:
“Every living cell is extremely complex, capable of reproduction, growth, survival, self-diagnosing, self-repairing—with a complex communication of information and storage and retrieval capabilities.”

  8. Deborah Lewis says:

Designed it using what? Who created the carbon?

  9. Steve Rubes says:

So what will Christians say when Life is found in our own solar system.

  10. Tyler Kulka says:

One writer says, “We now know that the cell bristles with high tech molecular machinery far more complex than anything ever devised by mere humans.”
Every cell is akin to a factory town, humming with power plants, automated factories and recycling centers. In the nucleus is a cellular library housing blueprints and plans that are copied and transported to the factories, each of which is filled with molecular machines that function like computerized motors. These manufacture the immense array of products needed within the cell, with the processes all regulated by enzymes which function as stopwatches to ensure that everything is perfectly timed.”

Nancy Pearcy’s writes in her book, Finding Truth:
“The cell is a minute factory bustling with organized, chemical activity. The outside surface of the cell is studded with sensors and gates and pumps and identification markers to regulate traffic coming in and out. Today biologists cannot even describe the cell without resorting to the language of machines and engineering…”
[This is what got to Micheal Behe (wrote Darwin’s Black Box)] “… Each cell has an automated rapid transit system in which certain molecules function as tiny monorail trains running along tracks, to whisk cargo around one part of the cell to another. Other molecules act as loading machines filling up the train cars and attaching address labels. When the train reaches the right address in another part of the cell, it is met by other molecules that act docking machines, opening them up and removing the supplies…”
“… To frame a mental image of the cell, picture it as a large and complex model train layout, with tracks crisscrossing everywhere, its switches and signals perfectly timed so that no trains collide and the cargo reaches its destination precisely when needed…”
“.. This is a level of complexity Darwin never dreamed of, and his theory utterly fails to account for it. Why? Because a system of coordinated, interlocking parts like this can only operate after all the pieces are in place—which means they must appear simultaneously, not by any gradual, piece-by-piece process… (page 185-186).”

  11. Rodney Durrett says:

They will never be able to create from nothing.

  12. Gus Rodriguez says:

If you need intelligence to design a cell, it’s proof in itself the existence of a superior intelligence better known as God. Also, it’s fallacious that scientists can actually design or create a cell, they can only modify it or redesign should be a better term.

  13. John Allen says:

    Like a drivers license

  14. Rodney Horton says:

They have to make their own matter first

  15. Anthony R. Vacanti says:

Scientists who dismiss Intelligent Design can easily disprove it: Get a bucket of a solution brimming with amino acids, dump it into a swamp, and produce a living cell naturally. After all, that IS how they claim Life first appeared on earth!

  16. John Thoele says:

Are they using materials that already exist in the physical world? Or did they make the materials such as the particles and chemicals and electricty out of nothing to make this cell?

  17. Tim Kingston says:

    It would confirm it.

  18. Chad Turner says:

Wow, I guess logic is not a thing that can be taught.

  19. Ed Roper says:

Scientist cant even Make the Very Basics of The Human Being………DIRT!

  20. Jeremy Blatchford says:

If scientists intelligently design a cell, they have further proved that ID is a feasible explanation for the origin of life… obviously…

  21. Tim Spangler says:

This is not to worry…because Scientists will NOT create a complex living cell…no way…no how

  22. Jim Durrett says:

    They could never…
    But…
They would also need to come up with their own raw materials and quit borrowing from Gods…

  23. Daniel Mann says:

if they create without gravity laws of physics and with out instruments or material sure

  24. Ugo Torcasio says:

No! Why would it? It requires intelligence to create it!

  25. Billy Myers says:

No that would actually prove it.

  26. Jonathan Patterson says:

It proves it takes intelligence to create?‍♂️?
    A.D.2020

  27. Rainier Ray says:

No… it would basically prove it. Because it was intelligently designed, not unintelligently designed…

  28. Nathaniel Taylor says:

No. It would demonstrate the need for intelligence.

  29. Jeff Adolphson says:

No because intelligence is still involved.

  30. Justin Clow says:

If they could make a man from dirt, that would be great!…….Now go get your own dirt. Don’t use God’s.

  31. John Phillips says:

No, it would prove that an intelligence is required.

  32. Andrew Azariah says:

Can humans ever intelligently design a cell from scratch ? None but God could have come up with the idea and executed it successfully.

  33. Griffin Smith says:

I see what you did there?

  34. Shane Mccall says:

No. It would prove it takes intelligence to create it.

  35. Ken Matey says:

That would prove it takes intelligence to design a viable cell.

  36. Maribel B. Krause says:

I hope no scientist would claim that. They should start counting the hair on their head first.?‍?

  37. Marcus Everett says:

I think our current makeup hurts the idea of ID. Why do we have a blind spot? Why do SO MANY people need glasses? Why do we breathe out of the same hole we use to eat? Why does the formation of our sinuses essentially CAUSE headcolds? Why don’t our bodies naturally make vitamin C? Why do we have wisdom teeth? Why is our ACL so exposed and easy to tear? Why is our Achilles tendon exposed also. Male’s testicles are exposed outside the body, women always need help giving birth because our baby heads are so large… we’re fantastic creatures of course, but our bodies don’t seem very intelligently designed when you look at our obvious flaws.

  38. Karl Ernst Von Buddenbrock says:

MiIler tried it in the 50’s and they lied about it. He didn’t create life and his chemicals were wrong. The denial of God’s design is like flat earth theory. evolution, and biogenesis us ludicrous. It would never have happened on its own.
