That’s like asking if God exists, why is there still evil in the world? God is sovereign and allows things to occur for His purpose that we do not always know or understand. It doesn’t change
that God is still a healer and miracle worker and that He can still do those things just like the fact that there is evil in the world and suffering occurs doesn’t change the fact that their is a very real God on the throne ruling and reigning right now. I hope this helps answer your question.This is for anyone who will be on this thread: before answering this, take a minute to pray and be mindful. The presence of an issue does not equal the absence of something else. I pray that God will continue to give wisdom to doctors and nurses to treat those with COVID-19 but also God will do miraculous healings as He is already doing right now during this time.

Remember that miracles were only done to bring glory to God. People like Paul had the ability to heal, but not always. After all, Paul himself had his “thorn in the flesh” that he could not be rid of.

Because millions are infected and most recover without needing healing? Because not every Christian has the gift of healing?

No gift or miracle will ever trump the will of God. The same question could be asked regarding cancer or any illness.

Why do humans get the flu, or cancer, or heart disease, or diabetes…. The list goes on. Isn’t it interesting how the media can brainwash people into thinking that God, all of a sudden, doesn’t exist because of the coronavirus?

There was still sickness and disease in the world when Jesus was present and when he went to heaven and the early church practised healing and so do we today.

Every gift we have is subject to God’s will. It was the hubris of mankind which carried that virus from a cave deep in China to a lab in the center of a city. Now that man has proven, yet again, that he isn’t as smart as he believes, God will use this virus to get the attention of people. Is it awful? Absolutely. Will it be effective? To those who go before God in humility and repentance, you bet. If this virus is going to ravage our world, some people might as well get a one trip ticket to heaven out of it. To God be the glory!

Healing was a sign gift and the Bible say they would end.
Nobody alive can heal people.
Signs Jews require. Gentiles don’t.The healing gift came from God. God did the healing too.
But nobody alive does it.If they did they would be doing it in Israel.

Throughout the Scripture we see many instance that speaks of God having a hidden or concealed “things” which we as humans do not have the capacity to comprehend. There are many other aspects of Life God has told us nothing about. For example nobody knows with certainty what will happen the next hour or day or even week. All of these things have been held back from us. Unfortunately, some people have made it their aim to know beyond things God has revealed. This has caused many people unnecessary heartaches for in the long run; they are unable to figure out many of things they seek out for.
