Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

Mathematical law, universal constants, uniformity of nature, epistemological certainty. Abstract, invariant, transcendental absolutes are unaccounted for in a worldview which precludes the triune Creator of all things.

General revelation is sufficient to reveal God and make Him knowable, but insufficient to know Him intimately. General revelation is sufficient to hold us accountable for our disobedience and rejection of our Creator, but insufficient to establish His will and purpose, specifically His gift of redemption and salvation. Not one of us can truthfully declare our perfect adherence to even a subjective moral standard, so why would be claim innocence from an objective one?

Because we are defiled with sin and all things are viewed through these sin stained lenses, reality is obscured and subjectivism embraced as we promulgate the lie of autonomy. We must turn away from our natural desires, our natural lives, and our natural interpretations for there is no interpretation of reality apart from God that can yield coherence.
