“If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come on you.”* (Revelation 3:3).

*”Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”* (Revelation 1:7)

Literally, these two types of prophecies seem to contradict each other: Since one says that the Lord will come like a thief, which means that no one knows about it, why does the other say that every eye will see him?
