I’m done with Leviticus and Hebrews. Then i met a SDA. Is there really a heavenly sanctuary where Jesus is doing the investigative judgement?

SDA’s are very special. They believe the commandments will save them, that Sunday is the mark of the beast and that Jesus is really the archangel Michael. Don’t take anything they say seriously. Satan has them completely blinded and trots their members out here and there just so he and the other demons can have a good laugh.

Both books will still be in the Bible if you ever choose to read them again!

  3. Arthur Adam Haglund says:

No. The heretic Ellen G White invented it when her prediction of Christs’ return failed.

To those who think the Investigative Judgement is not biblical, here is a good reading for you.

No, such a teaching is a false gospel and absurd. Hebrews isn’t about a literal heavenly sanctuary, it’s all about how Christ is superior, and the sections in question are about His superior priesthood

When you can find hundreds of Christians dedicated to exposing the false prophecies of someone like White, Or Joseph Smith jr of the Mormons, or Charles Russell (He came out of the Millerite cult, just like Ellen G White)
BELIEVE that these people ARE flase prophets and avoid them, they will poison you and yout faith.

    Thanks
    Arthur Adam Haglund ..
Only thing I like about SDA’s, is there very strong on Creation.

The essence of the doctrine of Investigative Judgement is the teaching that the work forgiveness, sanctification, and atonement of God at the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was not complete. It directly contradicts John 19:28 – 30.
In addition, it challenges God’s omnipotence. This doctrine basically teaches that the God who created the earth and the heavens in six literal days needs more than 2000 years to forgive sins of all man.

No,we are still in the age of grace, the time of judgement is not yet. That is a false doctrine

  13. Robert Porter says:

Their founder Ellen White plagiarized virtually everything that she claimed that god had revealed to her in visions. One of the “church” presidents said they had long known of Ellen’s “borrowings” but the Holy Spirit guided her in those borrowings so they could still claim that her writings were inspired. Ellen taught soul sleep. That is that the souls of the dead are unconscious from the moment of death until the resurrection. She also taught that it is not possible for anyone to know if they are saved or not because Christ is now in the heavenly sanctuary conducting “The Investigative Judgment” to determine who is worthy to enter heaven. Her plagiarism and false doctrines were exposed by two of their best scholars. Dr Desmond Ford, “The Investigative Judgment” which is available as a free download from his FB page and Dr Rea with “The White Lie”.

I would say all of Heaven as a place set apart (Sanctos) is all a Heavenly Sanctuary. And since Jesus has ascended to the place of authority awaiting His return to administer the final judgement I’d answer yes and no to your question. No in that thorough election and reprobation there is no need for any investigation since The Lord already knowns those who are His.

After Jesus gave us the gift of salvation by grace, people have set about dialing that back with tradition and extra revelation. It’s control.

Why don’t you have a dialogue with your pastor or district superintendent at C & MA? The 4-fold gospel as your profile picture indicates you are going to a Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. It is a very Bible believing church. I am certain that your pastor is well trained in this area.

A Christian would asks where in Scripture does it say there is a heavenly sanctuary where Judgement takes place. When such a thing is mentioned as a it seems a metaphora based on the Temple in Jerusalem as symbolic of God’s presence among his people.

  21. Neng Khan Thang says:

Not at all. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, not to investigate, but to INTERCEDE, for believers.

That was a weak excuse for their failed prediction that He was coming back around 1917 or thereabouts. When nothing happened, they made that up.

  35. Mickey Istre says:

We are exonerated in Christ the moment we were born again. The only thing that awaits the believer is the Judgment Seat of Christ where our works are measured, but our salvation is not in jeopardy.

  36. Mirzoyeva Naira says:

Hebrews 8:1-5 describes Jesus as a High Priest and a Minister of the sanctuary of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched and not man. So this can only mean there is a heavenly sanctuary by which design the earthly one was made. Hebrews 8:5 says We serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things…
Further, in Revelation 11:19, John describes a heavenly tabernacle and the ark of his testament was seen (in the old testament, we are told there was an ark of the covenant where the Law was placed). Revelation 14:17, 15:5-6 also John refers to a temple in heaven.
Also Hebrews 9:22-25 talks about how the earthly sanctuary was a copy of the heavenly, but unlike in the earhtly, where the priest continued to offer sacrifices, Jesus offered Himself up once.
This is all I could find now. Hope this helps.
