I’m trying to think of the best examples, looking for some input. What would be the best bible verses be, to highlight for a new Christian and/or non believers to get them started on they’re way? Thanks ?

Why? It’s where godly knowledge begins. The scriptures also show us how to learn it.

For me it depends. The verses of the bible deals with different matter. So it depends if you are dealing with an atheist, a catholic, muslim, etc. But the main verses used are romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:9-10, john 3:16 and john 3:3, specially in this order.

The gospels, especially John

Psalms 23 it reminds us of what God can do to us and its perfect .it gives me so much strength .and hope

I like to begin the conversation by asking where they will spend eternity and go from there with appropriate scripture

I would recommend all of Mark if they have a short attention span. On a more devotional focus I would encourage John with a special focus on the first chapter and a half combined with John the Baptist’s ministry early in all the gospels. If you get John the Baptist right, like in John 1:29, you tend to get Jesus right.

Book of James. Then learn more about James himself and reread it. Followed by book of John. If more specific, the first 1/2 of the first chapter.

I mean it depends on the person and there perspective…If they are interested in learning about the bible they are probably agnostic and not an athiest. In which case they are searching for something that they are missing. Default John 3:16 but maybe learn more about why they are interested. Never argue Christianity with versus from the bible if the person is an athiest. They don’t believe the bible is the word of God, to them you sound like an idiot. There are plenty of reasonable ways to argue with an athiest, neither one of you will win though.

Paul is the apostle to the gentiles so he must study Romans through Philemon to understand who he is in Christ.

Well an unbeliever needs to accept the gospel before any other scripture is relevant to them.
But for new Christians start out with Paul and utilizing spiritual gifts.

I apologize, I should have clarified what I was intending it for. I have a box of those small pocket sized bibles, I got them to hand out to people who are interested in receiving one. Whether it’s a homeless individual, or anyone I encounter who would take one, etc. But I thought maybe highlighting a few verses, good points for them to read first kinda things. For the people who don’t know where to start.
