John 3:16

First please explain how you propose any inspired scripture could be “stronger” than other inspired scripture? What measure of strength are we talking about here and if you have any examples I would be interested.

John 3.16
-
Every word in the Bible inspired by the Holy Sprit. So in that sense every scripture of Bible is strong.
If we look deep into the New Testament we can see the strong teachings of Jesus which is Actually the interpretation of the Ten commandments by Jesus. -
I think you’re asking the wrong kind of question, or you need to be more specific
-
Which 10 commandments? If we’re discussing the 10 commandments that are actually in the ark of the Covenant (Exodus 34)… they’re pretty trash.
-
stronger ?
-
In the beginning, God…
Everything else depends on that
-
Romans 12:1
-
2 Corinthians 3 (ESV)
-
Matthew 5-6 where the Savior gives the higher law
-
No. This is the main strong one…Love the Lord with all your heart with all your soul, with all mind, and with all your strength
-
I wouln’t compare but there are 2 commandments which Jesus gave Love your God will all your heart all your soul all your mind Love thy Neighbour as yourself follow these two all the rest will come under it .

Romans 8:3, For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
-
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8-10 ESV
How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
John 19:30 ESVThe finished work of the cross.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 ESVIt seems the OP wants to place the burden back on self

Galatians 3:10-13
John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

The Shema. Deuteromony 6: 4-9

1 john 3:23

John 11:35

It’s words on the translated page like any other parts of scripture. It’s an important part of the story of the Israelites and their relationship with God for sure. Jesus, as reported by the NT writers had a few things to say about the law and how to keep it in perspective, but it’s up to you what you focus on.
-
None stronger, none weaker. This is part of the scriptures but not the only part. If you lean of this at the expense of others then you live in deception.
-
All Scripture is profitable, but many would agree that John 3:16 has an even more far-reaching message.
-
Strong? How? Only one rule Jesus gave surpassed all that. And was dubbed “The greatest commandment”
-
God’s Mercy overrides His Justice. So Mercy is more powerful than the Law.
-
Ministry of death according to Paul … no longer a part of the new covenant – pointless
-
Yes. John 11:25 since by the law no flesh shall be justified (Romans 3:19-20)
-
The Sh’ma (Deut 6:4-5) and Jesus’ clarification of it (Mk. 12:28-31)
-
Following them is stronger than just the Commandment by itself.
-
For the letter kills 2 Corinth 3
-
Bible God actually allows the Israelites to break the Ten Commandments, so they are not very strong at all.
-
Putting it other way, somewhat similar to asking a person which of your words are stronger? Not making much sense. But nevertheless here’s what the Bible says about itself: “The sky and the earth won’t last forever, but my words will.” Matthew 24.35
-
Very poorly asked. What do you mean stronger? 2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
-
Yes the death and resurrection
-
Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself/
-
Sermon on the Mount.
-
At salvation?
Yeah, every other Scripture that preaches on faith in Christ.
The Ten Commandments make no one justified before God, all they do is make you aware of how sinful you are. -
Yes…the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ!
-
Matthew 22:37-40
He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” -
For a true believer all scripture is stronger .?
-
The commandments of Jesus
-
All Scripture comes from God according to 2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:21. Hence no verse, passage or Scripture is stronger than any other.
-
The gospel
-
Love God above everything, love people like yourself Jezus said only 2
-
what is your answer to your question?
-
Yes. Any and every scripture in the New Testament. We are not under the Old Testament and in fact, Gentiles have never been. We have a NEW COVENANT under the blood of Jesus. The 10 commandments were given precisely to show that we are ALL condemned under the righteousness requirements of the Law and need a Messiah- Jesus Christ to redeem us and this salvation is obtained by Grace (unmerited favor) through Faith, not of anything you can possibly do!
-
All scripture is useful
-
John 3:16-18
-
Every word is God’s Word, which makes every word as important as any
-
Mathew chapter 5,6 and 7.
