Would that look defensive?

The church has been hurt, they need some understanding

Sunday, at the church could be a place of question and answers and open honest conversation. Don’t avoid the obvious. Don’t ignore the elephant in the room

This is one of those messages that speak to those in the know without arousing concerns or burdens those who are still unaware. Every leader must speak thusly from time to time.

Sometimes on a Tue. night I have had a brothers meeting that was contentious and heated and have had to decide what to say on Sun. morning ( if anything ) let’s say 25% were fully involved with the issue, another 25% knew about it but didn’t have much information and a full 50% would be totally unaware. How do you speak to this to reassure the disturbed that you will get them through this and still to conduct the service so that the true spirit of worship is not quenched?

nothing should be said in the Sunday morning service.
Convene a conference meeting if it is that serious. -
I could not understand what his point was. I must agree with Charles, none of it made any sense to me. And I do not say that in a negative way. I was always waiting for him to get to his main subject. We all understand the SYSTEM.

I found this message by Dr Hill inspiring & heartfelt. I am not “in” on what the Wallace issue is. I took what he said at face value.
