He always existed from everlasting to everlasting.

Gen 3:8 And they heard the **voice** of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Isn’t “voice” words? Ie, they heard the “Word” of the Lord God walking in the garden. Jesus.
I always thought it peculiar saying the “voice of the Lord God walking in the garden”. Why didn’t it just say “heard the Lord God walking in the garden?”
