John Macarthur does not believe in the pentecostal work of the Holy Spirit, he says it already disappeared when the last disciple died.
That is not biblical.

John MacArthur’s cessationist doctrine isn’t scriptural. He bases his fears on what he sees happening in a lot of the pente/charismatic churches.

Nothing should be added to the word. Don’t subject yourself two arbitrary Rules by man. We were saved when Christ fulfilled the law, why would you subject yourself to man’s interpretations?

It’s a Calvinist perspective on God’s written Word. I would read it with caution, knowing that it’s thoughts, interpretation, and opinions are that of Dr MaCarthur and not of God.

When you’ve got to put “truth” in the title, got to wonder at how confident they are.
Christianity’s “truth” claims have not been tested or verified by the food and drug administration. It is not intended to treat or cure any disease of body or mind. Ask your pastor if the Bible is right for you.

That is why some churches are branded as cults , They do not have humble discerning attributes to fresh teaching

It will. I have it. It was the text book for my Christian Doctrine class.

MacArthur is a great teacher. I don’t agree with him on everything, but he is a great teacher.
