Lee College ministerial students and faculty who may have in part contributed to the thinking that brought about the Declaration of Faith accepted in the 1948 General Assembly and the subsequent alteration of the COG change in the belief in sanctification.

I had Harold Cato for one night class at Lee but the others were before my time.

D C Barnes only had a BA? How was he qualified to teach in Bible College at BTS? And to think that he and Dake started the great debate regarding the Doctrine of Sanctification there at BTS.

The parents of Ed King’s wife are in this group, the Case couple. Ed King (RIP) was a very liberal minister who was European Servicemen’s Representative and specifically I recall his dislike of Dollas Messer who at the time was a Center Director at Ausburg. (These are my opinions from my experiences)
