Matthew 7:22 King James Version (KJV) 22 Many will say…

Matthew 7:22 King James Version (KJV)
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?.
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Here verse from the Quran

And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'” He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

Don’t you think that there are here kinda similarly between the two verses.
And how can you explain the verse that I mentioned from the bible . and why do the Quran says that Jesus was a prophet
And not a god as the Christian followers says.

    just what do the gospels say?
    Jn 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
    Jn 1:2This one was in the beginning with God.
    Jn 1:3All things came into being through him, and apart from him not one thing came into being that has come into being. Jn 1:14And the Word became flesh and took up residence among us, and we saw his glory, glory as of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth. Jn 1:17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

    The Quran plagiarized quite a bit from the Hebrew and Christian scriptures so it’s not surprising that there is a small amount of similarities however the Bible says Jesus, was God manifested in the flesh the Son, second person of the Trinity equal in all attributes, existing eternally in perfect union with the Father and Holy Spirit and this is the true Jesus.

    Jesus is Prophet, Priest and King. It is good that the Quran recognizes He was a Prophet. Jesus never said to look at His mother as a deity Some Christian faiths exalt her but do not see her as a god. The similarity is from Muhammad misquoting Scripture or using a different unreliable source.

    And one more thing. Christian’s dont worship mary..ur Quran is suggesting that it does. Anything…ANYTHING that does NOT line up with the Word of God is NOT OF GOD. I’m sorry..and I know you will dispute it and that I will never entertain bc it is biblical truth…however I will tell u this…when all is said and done and you stand before the the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY..YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEANT ALL ALONG. BUT..I will ?? that your eyes will be open to truth…ur Muslim..I’m Christian. BUT..it has NEVER been about religion for me..its about a relationship. THAT is the difference between those who fight to say their “religion ” is right…God wants relationships NOT religion.

    Mohammed took basically whatever he learned at the earlier times in his life when he had conquered the Christians, he took some of the teachings, especially moral teachings and understandings from monastic life, ideas from Christianity, and tried to apply them. But the theology is really where he moved away, and that’s why St. John of Damascus called Islam a heresy.

    The theology is really completely different. For him, Jesus is the word of God, and he was born from the Virgin Mary without the seed of man, and she remained a virgin. But at the same time, he repeatedly says that anybody who says that Jesus is God is an abomination, and he calls the Christians polytheists if they say that God is three. So he insists on the unity of God being one and not three, not three persons. He doesn’t really understand the theology, of course. He never really understood it, he never really studied it, the standard mystery of the Trinity in that sense.

    So he refuses to accept that Jesus is God, and then he refuses to accept that Jesus is crucified. So he comes up with this idea that Jesus was lifted up from out of the hands of the Jews that arrested him and crucified him, and they crucified his shadow or something like that, and Jesus ascended to heaven and he’s going to come back later again. But the interesting thing is that the Jesus that he’s talking about is not the Jesus we experience in Christianity, the Jesus we know from the New Testament, not the Jesus that we’re expecting to come again. For Mohammed , Jesus is a man who is fully submissive to Islam, and his own people were Muslims, who is going to come in the end to destroy the heresy of Christianity, the errors of the Christians, and kill the Christians and the Jews who object to become Muslims.

    The first passage is from the Word of the Living God.
    The second is irrelevant. Different god, different jesus.

    Had the Muslim read verse 15 prior to verse 22 and 23, he would see that the context Jesus is speaking about the false prophets.

    When looking at bible verses, one has to look at S.T.O.P.

    1.the Situation in which the context is being used.

    2 the Type of literary method is being used by the author to the verse.

    3.who is the Object of the verse

    4. Whether the verse is Prescriptive for Christians or Descriptive in providing an account to be learned from

    The Quran version of Jesus is taken from Simon Magus the creator of Gnosticism, talking baby Jesus, turning stones into birds, Mohammed believed that Gnosticism WAS Christianity because he couldn’t tell the difference.. he was a false prophet and made up a god to receive temporary benefits and fame, he is dead in the grave while Jesus is forever alive in Heaven

    Brother,
    1. There isn’t any similarities.
    2. In Quran: Allah calls Jesus, ‘the Son of Mary’.
    In the bible, God says of Jesus, “This is my beloved Son.
    3. In that Quran text, Jesus has no authority whatsoever.
    In that Bible text, the authority Jesus have is unmistakable.

    Bonus for you: The Quran believes the Bible:
    1. Jesus is virgin born.
    2. He’s coming back.

    The two passages you have shared above have no similarities. The first verse is dealing with hypocricy while the Passage from the Qu’ran is negating the deity of Jesus. There is nowhere in the entire bible where Jesus denied to be God. Only the Muslims and the Jews found it difficult to accept that fact.

    Islam teaches Jesus was a prophet for Allah and apparently we Christians are just idiots who didn’t get the message. They believe someone who looked like Jesus died and that Jesus didn’t really get crucified (Jesus crucifixion proven by Roman documentation). They also have a misinterpretation of the trinity. They believe the trinity is Allah, Isa (Jesus), and Miriam (mary) and that is polytheism so they believe christianity is polytheistic. Many fallacies with their understanding of christianity

    Muslims dogmatically denounce the Christian declaration of Christ’s unique deity as the unforgivable sin of shirk. As the Qur’an puts it, “God forgiveth not the sin of joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this” (Sura 4:116). In recent years, the myth that Judas was crucified in place of Jesus has been popularized in Muslim circles by a late medieval invention titled The Gospel of Barnabas. Against the weight of history and evidence, the Qur’an exudes, “they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them” (Sura 4:157).

    In addition to rejecting the divinity of Jesus, Islam also renounces the divine identity of the Holy Spirit. Far from being the third person of the Triune God who inspired the text of the Bible, Islam teaches that the Holy Spirit is the archangel Gabriel who dictated the Qur’an to Muhammad over a period of twenty-three years. Ironically, while the Holy Spirit who dictated the Qur’an is said to be the archangel Gabriel, Islam identifies the Holy Spirit promised by Jesus in John 14 as Muhammad.

    The Bible warns us about these counterfeit Christs and doctrines of demons! Biblically, the Holy Spirit is neither an angel nor a mere mortal; rather, He is the very God who redeems us from our sins and will one day resurrect us to life eternal (Acts 5:3–4; Rom. ‪8:11‬).

    Do not be deceived:
    The Allah of Islam is Not the God of the Bible. He is Satan!
