If the 12 stars, the Sun and the moon refers to Israel, then who is the WOMAN?

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was with child; and she *cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth.
Revelation 12:1-2The woman is Israel. It says she is clothed with the sun. The moon under her feet and stars was a crown.
So how did jews view this lets go back to the old testament.
Now he had still another dream, and related it to his brothers, and said, “Lo, I have had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” He related it to his father and to his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have had? Shall I and your mother and your brothers actually come to bow ourselves down before you to the ground?”
Genesis 37:9-10 -
Genesis 37:5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.” 8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. 9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” 10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind…it seems here based on Gen 37 that the 12 stars are the sons of Jacob (the twelve tribes of Israel), the moon is Rachel and the Sun is Jacob himself…to keep it simple, the woman in revelation 12 is a picture of the Jews as a whole.

What about the alignment of stars and moon that occured in September of 2017? Some say that was the Rev 12 sign. When its looked at it lines up the way scripture said? And it’s ironic it happened 2 years after the appearing of the Bethlehem star in 2015. Makes one think ?
