Do you have discernment? Are you able to easily tell when a pastor or ministry is speaking lies? Many in the “Itching Ear” crowd have planted themselves where they will hear words which make them feel good. As Christians, we are to be like the Bereans – searching the Scriptures to see if what we’ve been told is true.
Originally written in 2015, I felt once again to bring this article out. Having just written the article with Thomas Littleton’s “Betrayed: An Open Letter to the Church” I realize…
I can’t be misled I’m always on the look out
What did Jesus say about money changers in the temple?
Most churches are not what they were when Jesus was on earth!
Amen
More than anything else, we need to weigh things up against the actual teachings of Jesus. He is the Cornerstone – the author and finisher of our faith. ANd it’s HIs words which will ultimately judge us on the last day. (John 12:48)
Amen!!
Destruction and lake of fire is the future of this world.
Really good article. Very true as well. It is sad to say but so many Christians can’t discern because of their lack of knowledge that can only come from reading the Bible.
When the devil tried to tempt Jesus he used Bible verses that were out of order. Jesus could only correct him using the Bible in the correct order. Jesus could do this because He knew the Bible.
So many Christians today have been tricked into a false belief because they don’t fully know God’s word. The Devil is using Christians to distort the word of God.
Most people who lack critical thinking will not question their own beliefs. They cannot discern false teachers are talking the loudest but misapply, distort, confuse truth of gods words and follow footsteps of clergy or pastors understanding.. without holy-spirit gods word is still hidden from wicked hearts.
