If the Trinity didn’t exist until AD 170, then there was a time when the Trinity was not yet orthodox. The next question raised undoubtedly has to be, what doctrine held the orthodoxy prior to the Trinity’s development? I suggest that orthodoxy to be Modalistic Monarchianism.
