? . But I don’t think pope Francis is practicing biblical Christianity

  3. Emily Teoh says:

Maybe instead of seeing it as “joining in prayer with other religions,” we should just see it as just prayer that happens to coincide with another religion’s holy month.

It’s just another opportunity to pray. It’s not like we’re praying to their god. I think it is ok.

  4. John Delmore says:

Pope called for a day of fasting and prayer. It happens to fall during a month that Muslims fast. That is all from the pope’s side, though the article does look like muslims are trying to milk it…

  5. Constantine Ponferrada Royeras says:

Absolutely right. Allah is not God.

  6. Steven Coghill says:

    Agreed. forget this false prophet.

  7. Toby Nobel says:

I’ve seen that the Pope is pushing for the “abrahamic tri-faith” thing (Jewish, Christian, and Islam) he has no problems with it, and I’ve seen things where he says that all religions lead to God. People need to stop listening to him. The whole papacy thing isn’t even biblical!

  8. Zac Olds says:

Jesus comdemns the exact kind of fasting Ramadan is.

And it’s hardly fasting anyway, most Muslims gain weight during the month. They feast in the morning, sleep in the day and feast at night. Doesn’t sound like fasting to me!

  9. James Gore says:

I agree I do t think we should pray fir or with people of other faiths or accept when they offer to pray fir us during tough times. I mean could you imagine accepting a blessing from the Dalai Lama?

  10. Tom Joseph says:

OF COURSE NOT! Are there any Roman Catholics here that want to defend the pope? Hopefully w/ scripture or reason?

  11. Paul Wiley says:

Yes, you’re right. We shouldn’t because it involves mixing Light with darkness.

  12. Tom Joseph says:

Can anyone give me a rationale as to why the pope isn’t or can’t be possessed? He HAS to have knowledge of the Word, so he must, therefore, be a liar to so blatantly teach against it … so what other motivation could he have other than to be pure evil? This is an honest question.

  13. Samuel ST Lai says:

    This liberal multi faith nonsense!

  14. Paul Wiley says:

It will eventually lead to a one world religion with the antichrist leading it through Satan.

  15. Marlene Ferguson says:

I don’t believe in a pope. Just Jesus. No hierarchical, top down institutions worshipping a man. And this pope doesn’t even follow his own church’s teachings.

  16. Michael Holford says:

We need to get over ourselves and foster unity where we can.

Take heed of Jesus’ interaction with the Samaritan woman at the well, and St Paul’s interaction with the Greeks and their “unknown God”.

  17. Chester Higgs says:

Observation, The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the word of God, so to be anti-Christ, would be anti-word, so anything against what Jesus has said or your Bible says would be Anti-christ,

    EXAMPLES
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
    Ephesians 4: There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is ABOVE ALL, and THROUGH ALL all, and IN YOU ALLl.

    Not three separate persons

Woman in the Bible denotes the church

Ezekiel 16:44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The MOTHER OF HARLOTS And Abominations Of The Earth.

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the BLOOD OF THE SAINTS, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

woman drunken with the BLOOD OF THE SAINTS, this is the RCC throughout the dark ages, starting 325 AD at Nicaea in Constantine’s time 68 million Martyr’s were put to death where also the trinity belief came from!

The MOTHER OF HARLOTS means she has denominational Daughters that are harlots and they are all connected to the RCC By the umbilical cord of baptism! Baptizing in the titles of Father Son, Holy Ghost Matt 28;19

Anti-Christ IS Anti-WORD! Or doctrine and teachings against God’s Word (Jesus Christ -John 1:1)

A scriptural description of the trinity doctrine
Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Matthew 23: 9 And CALL NO MAN FATHER upon the earth: for ONE is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

NOW WHO DOES THIS >>>??????<<< 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to SEDUCING SPIRITS, and DOCTRINES OF DEVILS; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 FORBIDDING TO MARRY, and commanding to ABSTAIN From MEATS, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. NOW WHO DOES THIS >>>??????<<< THIS IS WHER THE BIBLE PLACES TRINITY Revelation 1613 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. 18. Mo Bautista says:

I don’t understand why people don’t accept praying with others. It’s not like they’re asking us to pray to “another God” or pray in a certain way.

  19. Roman Lyniuk says:

Islam is a Satanic movement. Think praying to Satan is offensive to our God. Dah.

  20. Gene Williams Jr. says:

Never should we. Especially with Islam.

  21. Corey Matthew says:

Christians should pray to God frequently throughout the day without being prompted to.

  22. Raymond Dale Northup Jr. says:

I completely agree because the bible teaches not to coexist

  23. Steven Coghill says:

Maybe he is the actual false prophet spoken of in Revelations. Certainly appeasing the enemy.

  24. Olivaire Watler says:

Absolutely no way! His predecessor would never have done that.

  25. Lori Dawson says:

Whose side does he pretend to be on?

  26. Primo Rivera Sr. says:

To join with them in prayer is to worship with them. It is the same as one religion is as good as another

  27. Gregory Kayko says:

The pope wouldn’t know Jesus if he showed up right in front of him..

  28. Gregory Kayko says:

Prayer is worship. We only worship the true God..

  29. Marshall Mercer says:

We can not all be right ,therefore we can not coexist. There’s one truth, one way,one life . Anything else that contradicts our way of life, we are called to be set apart from.

  31. Adam Daniel Broughton says:

We pray to God the Father. Only Christians have that privilege, praying with non-Christians sends the wrong message.

  32. C Jay Cox says:

I agree. But I don’t consider the RCC to be Christian. Not that it justifies anything.

  33. Dan Waenet says:

I think fasting on the day of Ramadan is not the issue. We can fast any day, every day of the year. But it should be clear why we are fasting and to whom we are fasting, so not to stumble others.

  34. Bella Murphy says:

No I will not join others who believe in something different or a different god and worship with them. Sorry but that doesn’t feel right nor does it seem biblically accurate to do so. I agree with you, we shouldn’t join non Christians in prayer since they believe in a different God.

  35. Chris Crutchley says:

    The pope isn’t a Christian

  36. Christine Welten says:

I know people who are missionaries in Muslim countries. They do pray at the same time as their friends but the pray to Isa (Jesus). They see that by doing this they are respecting the culture but not worshiping Allah. Bring Jesus into the mosques and let light and truth banish the darkness, but be solid in your faith

  37. Ronald Mckinney says:

    Agree

  38. Kgaugelo KG Mangwathe says:

AntiChrists. Pope & Muslims. Muslims never celebrate Passover Good Friday or Christmas, they call it pagan etc

  39. Monica Infante Bartsch-Bersales says:

One religion propagated by the pope is Pluralism, Syncretism, and Universalism, all against the one true God and His 1st commandment.

  40. Eman On says:

A lot of the people I love, are Catholics. What I read here, in this supposedly Christian group, more than disappointed me. It convinced me that many here are not truly followers of Christ.

  41. Mark YKoromba says:

Roman Catholic is pagan Christianized….the pope is the vicar of Satan.

  42. Jeff Sutherland says:

There is a reason for the reformation in 1517.

  43. Anthony Delmedico says:

When the leader of a church body begins to lead by misleading, its an opportunity to see the deceit and adhere to the truth. Christians don’t fast in accordance to Ramadan, for fasting has been a constant staple in the history of Judea/Christian worldview well before Mohammad was even a speck in the Lord’s eye. No we fast all year round because we seek union with God. Can we as Christians fast along side those adherents to Islam, of course, but not in conjunction. Rather to exalt the true God of the universe, the Lord Jesus Christ! Pope Francis certainly needs to fast.

  44. Emmanuel Chukwumaeze says:

Are we not praying to “our” God,?
I’m sorry don’t we pray everyday? Ramadan or not?
So praying during Ramadan means we’re not praying to God?

  45. Delia Delgado says:

Not the same God… The Roman Catholics were probably praying to their Idols and as usual, their prayers didn’t work or do anything and now are asking for backup. If they knew the truth they would step down from saying he’s the “Vicar of Christ” and admit the Pope has no power and thus only the one and only Jesus can help us and was always the only one we can turn to. Only Jesus and the God of the Bible can help.

  46. Catherine Casey says:

We can and should pray for them, but to join them in prayers to false gods, absolutely not.

  47. Michael J. Splinter says:

I really think he’s mentally ill.

  48. Dave Isaac says:

Agree. Praying with them is agreeing with the existence of their god. It is an act indicating that their god can do the same thing with our God. “I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God…” (Isaiah 45:5)

  49. Lulu Pierre says:

This is all just about bringing in the one world religion. Not for me.
