Honestly, R.C. Sproul was an idol back in the day when I was a Calvinist having only read his books. But, seeing him live in rant mode really knocked him off of his pedestal.

I’m not a Calvinist either but I can feel how frustrated R.C. Sproul is here. We’re too much focused on our own suffering and punishment that we forget we’re breathing and alive only because of God’s grace

RC Sproul was right.
I am not a Calvinist but I have learned a great deal from Sproul. He was a faithful servant who stood for the integrity of Scripture. That said, I do not think there is a reality where he would have approved of anyone putting him on a pedestal. He was a man who seemed fully aware of his flaws and limitations.
Now, with that being said, I have watched the “What’s wrong with you people” moment several times and I feel the frustration that he has there because it is palpable. He wasn’t just addressing a question being asked there but a mentality that we don’t deserve punishment, that we can defy God, and the consequences of those actions should not apply to us. When we are faced then with the consequences we look at God as if somehow He is the problem. This takes our focus away from His divine mercy and, in pride and vanity, makes grace that which we are entitled to because we just are. I can definitely see His point and His frustration
Sproul isn’t an idol nor was he on a pedestal.
If he was to you then you should do some reflection.
He is right you know. I would like to see someone refute what he said.
Study what the Bible says.
Not what Calvanism say.
Study what the Bible says.
Not what Arminianism says.
For the Bible is Word’s God.
Calvin was wrong Arian was wrong about Salvation.
