So, I’m not sure how I feel about a preaching…

So, I’m not sure how I feel about a preaching I heard today when the pastor targeted Christians who are seeing an evil agenda behind how this CV is being handled by govts, calling it proud and “taking it too personally”. Saying we need to be humble and meek and no need to fight for rights… He labeled anyone who questions the govt motives as “conspiracy theorist”. He says that the govt is not targeting churches and that this idea of the govt having an evil agenda is “conspiracy theory” simply not true. He thinks that we are being blinded by Satan.
?????

Obviously, I completely disagree. ?‍♀️

If you also disagree with his ‘message’, how would you respond?

    I am up to date with the conspiracy theories, Pizzagate, Obamagate, Epstein’s flight records etc. I have watched the film documentaries ‘out of darkness’ and ‘fall of the Cabal. I watched them with fear and was sickened by them. Is there a big conspiracy going on right now against the Church, yeah but not a focused one. It seems to be more than the Church. If there is a conspiracy happening, it is to change laws. What I see is the enemy making a move, kinda like in a game of chess. Things are being shifted because of this virus that is way out of our control. Church will meet again and everything will get back to some kind of normal, but that doesn’t mean the conspiracies are not true, it just means moves are being made that go far above governments heads. This is going to happen but not as we think. They will have all our hands tied by the time it comes to affecting meeting together. Its all in the laws and amendments they are changing while everyone is in fear of Covid and in fear of the obvious things we are all panicking about. I felt the Lords hand on me, telling me to settle and just watch what is happening without contributing to it as we really don’t know what we are talking about. The wise thing is to watch what is happening at the top

    I’m sorry but there are portions of state govt that are in fact overstepping themselves and pushing into the area of violating constitutional rights. If this is considered a conspiracy theory then I’m a 6 foot blonde super model with an amazing strut in stilettoes.

    I have heard that too. But I have seen Christians being too focused on conspiracies. But yes, the Bible is clear about the future. There are dark forces at play. Is cv a tool being used? Not sure. But I know the UN and pope have publicly stated they want a one world government. Look at China and its use of technology to keep people in line. I could go on. The devil pushing conspiracy theories about end times? That is a new one. The pastor should be staying clear of that talk or at least keep it biblical.

    Need his context to be able to respond. It is true that GOD placed governments in place to govern the affairs of this world. There may be bad governments but they are HIS idea. Now when something like this Covid 19, comes their responsibility is to save lives. They may be wrong or misled by scientific data but their focus is preservation of life. Now to our discomfort and annoyance they make make decisions that affect Christians and our way of life. The question we to ask is why was the uncomfortable decision taken, their application may be questionable but if they intended to save lives then it would be unwise for Christians to fight what governments do.

    I don’t think he reads his Bible, particularly the Book of Daniel, The Revelation and Romans 11:17 – 26 KJV. When the fullness of the Gentiles comes in (The last saved person) then this Age ENDS. The Global Pandemic, the Government control, all points to a practice run for the End. In my opinion! This information is given us not to scare us but to encourage us to share our Faith while there is time, God makes NO mistakes.

    I get his motives and the Bible says we are not to worry about the things that will happen that we as Christians are to look to God and stay focused . But there is truth in what the government is doing and the word of God says in the last days that things will be bad including government we need to be diligent in recognizing these things and letting others know that the time is close and it’s not that anyone is being a Conspiracy theorist it is that we are watchers on the wall for God . It’s how we address the oncoming storms that Jesus and the prophets talked about . Some do go overboard and go the gloom and doom . Not everyone does this and people do need to know that time is not on there side . That one day it will all change in an instant. This is true .

    Read all of 1 Samuel 8. Israelites wanted a government, God tells them “governments are corrupt and evil, and it will turn you away from me. The only king you need is me.” and the people of Israel said “give it to us anyway.” So God gave it to them.
    God says governments are corrupt and unnecessary, but He lets us willingly be ruled by other men because that’s what we want. We shouldn’t want to give other humans power over us.

    This is why book of Daniel and book of revelation are in the Bible so you aren’t ignorant of the time we are in. There will be lots of false teacher in the last day. This is why Christians should read the Bible and not put faith in man.

    Why respond? He won’t listen to you and will just consider you as a nut job conspiracy theorist. Instead, study for yourself what the Bible says and seek God in prayer. I agree that the pastor mentioned is wrong. It’s that type of preaching that furthers the Devil’s agendas. Unfortunately, anyone can call themselves a minister regardless if they know God’s heart or not. Just decide to not be like him.

    This is why the Bible warns that the end times deception will deceive, if possible, even the elect.

    Believers will not fall for the final Mark of the Beast, but all the deceptions leading up to it? Believers can believe the lies and propagate them, and lead others to stumble. It’s sad, and we must be careful.

    Is it proud to stand up for the poor, the oppressed, and to protect the liberties that our constitution was built to protect? No, it’s called agape love and is called wisdom.

    It is “taking it personally” to say that the government has no right to keep large corporations open while bankrupting small businesses? No, that’s called caring about your neighbors – “love your neighbor as yourself.”

    Thomas Jefferson, a founding father, he told us that as citizens, our DUTY is to supervise government and keep it within the limits of the constitution. He said that government is like a fire – when small, it can give warmth and helpfulness, but if you don’t supervise it or you let it get too big, it becomes terribly destructive.

    Read, Philippians. No, meditate on Philippians for a week. Paul faced actual persecution, and what was his attitude? He rejoiced in it! He didn’t worry about what the Romans were trying to do. He knew the power of his Savior! The persecution didn’t really bother him. He expected it and continued sharing the love of Jesus. He shared the gospel with his guards. Christians in America have it so easy. Nothing prevents us from loving our neighbors and worshiping freely, or discipling others. Heck, The President and a large majority of Senators and Representatives profess Christianity. The gun rights groups want you to think the government is out to destroy Christianity, so many Christians will go buy an AR-15 and 10,000 rounds of Ammo. I just don’t see Paul responding that way in Philippians. I’ll bet 99% of the people lining with guns protesting have never made a disciple in their lives. That’s what we are supposed to be doing. Instead we want to find an enemy to fight. Do you know the names of your neighbors? Are you praying for their salvation? That’s what we should be focused on. Turn off Fox News. It’s poison.

    So… what about the early Christians who rescued abandoned babies in defiance of Roman law? Or those same Christians who refused to worship Roman gods? Or was it wrong for William Wilberforce & the abolitionists to speak out against slavery? Was it wrong for German Christians like Dietrich Bonhoeffer to speak out against the Nazi’s, and wrong for the other Germans who helped Jews to escape persecution and death in Germany? Was it wrong for MLK Jr to stand up against discrimination? Many Christian churches stayed silent then too, and they were wrong. Any law of government that goes against God’s natural law is an unjust law (to paraphrase Dr King). Peaceful protest, continuing to seek and do God’s will, and vocal resistance is the right answer in all those cases.
