Church of God General Overseer Ray H. Hughes was born in Calhoun GA on March 7, 1924. Always considering his call to be that of an evangelist, in 1942 he preached an 18 week revival that resulted in planting the Church of God in Fairfield, IL.

Church of God General Assembly 1976. Does anyone remember this one. It was held in Dallas, TX. My wife and I are somewhere in this pic because we were both there. I wonder how did today’s attendance compare to the attendance in 1976?
