SUBJECT: EARLY HOLIDAY CLOSING POLICY CHANGE

During the February 12, 2024 meeting of the International Executive Committee, the following action was taken:

“The International Executive Committee reviewed the policy of closing at 3:00 p.m. on the workday preceding a holiday weekend, and it was agreed that the practice be discontinued in light of the 4-day work week.”

Please note that Thursday, March 28, the offices will close at 3pm and reopen on Monday, April 1, at 8am. This will be the final time the International Offices will close early prior to a holiday.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Dr. James D. “Don” Jenkins, former state overseer of Mississippi (1988-1992) and Field Representative for World Missions. Arrangements are pending.
 
Please remember the Jenkins family in your thoughts and prayers, including his wife Rebecca, who is a former director of Women’s Ministries.

We regret to inform you of the passing of J. T. Jones, father of Toika Sherlin of the Office of Credentialing. Brother Jones passed away early this morning, March 12, 2024. He was retired as Vice President of the Benefits Board in 2010 after serving for more than 15 years and was an original member of its Board of Trustees.
 
Arrangements are pending. Please keep the Jones and Sherlin families in your thoughts and prayers.
