Smoky Mountain Kidfest will be held in person at the Gatlinburg Convention Center on the weekend of April 30 – May 1, 2021. It will run concurrently with Church of God Winterfest, which is scheduled to take place at the Smokies Stadium near Sevierville, Tenn.

Smoky Mountain Gathering – April 25-27

Greetings!

The Smoky Mountain Gathering 2023 is quickly approaching, and we are excited for your senior adults to participate. April 25-27 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, we will host the annual event with senior adults from around the U. S. gathering for worship, fun and fellowship. There will be plenty of entertaining fun as well as wonderful times to gather for worship and the Word. Special guests this year include General Overseer Tim Hill, Bishop Tommy Bates, 11th Hour, Tim Lovelace, Angie Primm, The Browder’s, Southbound, Todd Tilghman, and Voices of Lee. A highlight of each Smoky Mountain Gathering is our Talent Showcase, which will take place Wednesday morning along with a special recognition of Spirit Care and Ministry to the Military.

Registration is easy. Log on to the Smoky Mountain Gathering website using the button below for registration and discounted hotel rates. Included with this email is a poster for advertising as well as a schedule of events. Please share this information with the senior adults of your church.

Sevierville, TN–After lingering pandemic issues, the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home was finally able to host its annual banquet at the Sevierville Convention Center. This year’s event was marked by a new award referred to as the Legacy Award. The first-ever recipient of the Legacy Award was former directors, Paul and Tannis Duncan.

Smoky Mountain Children’s Home Receives National Accreditation

Sevierville, TN–Over the past eighteen months, the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) has been involved in a wall-to-wall review of all of its programs by the Council on Accreditation, (COA) of New York. The organization also provides accreditation for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. Recently the accrediting body announced that SMCH has officially received national accreditation for the next four years, through July 1, 2025.
