Another Short Talk by Sister Mary D. Rouse. Notes from
her talk:
I want to talk to you this morning right out of the heart of
a mother’s love. I’t seems that our y,oung people are running
down the hill of degredation and I believe with all of my beart
that the down fall of a nation is when the women become de
graded: the devil gets the women, the women get the men and the children naturally follow. God has left it in our hands to hold up the blood stained banner of Prince Immanuel, and
if we fail to teach the young generation the precious Word of
God tbeir blood may be required at our hand. I hope God will
help us to have our heart and soul buried! in training this rising generation for God, and one of the best ways of doing this is to teach them the Word of God in Sunday School.
I will conclude by giving you a recipe for a Sunday School

Pie: Take 50 parts of prayerfulness, equal parts preparation.
faithfulness and variety, cup of milk of kindness, well sweetened with divine love, cook with fire of the Holy Ghost, serve with sauce made with the oil of joy, garnish with garment of praise, serve piping hot. No good if allowed to cool off. Served cold causes spiritual indigestion and death of Sunday School.
