What COG did you attend as a child?

  2. I was raised in the Prichard Church of God-Ala. on Wilson Ave. which is no longer there just the building & I have photos. I remember Bishop George Ayers as my Pastor & was in class with his son Robert. My cousin (her Mother’s possession) has a group photo on the steps when I was a toddler. I am now 68 yrs. old.

It would be easier to give an elegy than to tell a story. ” An elegy is a sad poem, usually written to praise and express sorrow for someone who is dead. Although a speech at a funeral is a eulogy, you might later compose an elegy to someone you have loved and lost to the grave. The purpose of this kind of poem is to express feelings rather than tell a story.

give us a good eulogy of the Church of God’s belief in holiness and sanctification. Then follow it up with a poetic elegy!

  5. I recall when drinking Coca-cola was a sin along with chewing gum.
