Whatever God does is good … Because He is good and the source and definition of all good

  2. James Gore says:

There is nothing above God, and nothing beyond Him. Thus God can only promise upon Himself if He makes an oath. So His laws are absolute

  3. Seth Iris says:

God is all powerful and almighty and faithful. His word is law even to himself. His promises are also laws that He will meet no matter what. He is not exemption. So when He promise something, surely that will happen because God is faithful. Praises to God.

Can you support that claim with Scripture please.

It actually gives a sounder basis for moral certainty than can be found elsewhere – without God there is no objective sense of morality or law, and even our modern laws change from year to year according to the sway of culture and legal precedent.

Meanwhile, above it all, God is the designer, creator, redeemer and finisher of every thing in this universe, and has declared that he does not change. If God determines right from wrong and God does not change, then we have an absolute source of justice and truth.

Beyond that, God is also wholly loving and merciful, so although a human legal system may condemn a man to death on the right charges, God would always rather reform, redeem and remake the man to be free from committing such an offence again, and indeed then adopts every redeemed criminal as his own child.

I mean seriously, is it any surprise so many criminals become Christians? If you are a murderer, how powerful it is that God has a higher law and harsher penalties for your crimes, yet would prefer to make you his own child than condemn you?

As creator, God is outside of creation. This gives Him complete sovereignty over everything. Everything was created by God. Time, space, matter are creations of His work. He is above it all, outside of it all. Yet, He loves what He created. So He will not harm what He made. He works in His creation from outside His creation like a watch maker working on a watch. He is making something new in it. From one Covenant to another, to bring the most precious componant of His creation to Him, that is us.

  7. Jo Kelechi says:

the righteousness of God is evident in the way He consistently acts in accord with His own character. God always acts righteously; His every action is consistent with His character. God is always consistently “Godly.” God is not defined by the term “righteous,” as much as the term “righteous” is defined by God. God is not measured by the standard of righteousness; God sets the standard of righteousness

  8. Steven Wells says:

He is the most high. Period.
