The fact is you must be born again
The fact is you must be born again.
John1:[11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not.[12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God
John3:[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born againYou must have the truth of the word to be saved.The truth gives faith and we are saved by faith,so we must have truth.
Rom.10:[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
1 Peter1:[22] Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:[23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever
Committeth in the script means by habit.
1 John3:[6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.[7] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God1 John4:[7] Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1 John5:[1] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
You must be born of the water and Spirit.You must repent and bring forth meet fruit for repentance.Repent means to turn from sin.
Mark1:[4] John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
[15] And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.Math.3:[2] And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
[8] Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:[11] I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Acts2:[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.[40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts.3[19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
[22] Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.Signs will follow if you are born again.Mark16:[17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Heb.2:[4] God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
1 Cor.12:[3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.[4] For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:[5] So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
[6] Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;[7] Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;[8] Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness
