   And 1st Peter says this: In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ

   Well, “they” (90% of the Pentecostals) believe you can lose your salvation (Armenian) so they don’t believe baptism saves you for eternity. Assemblies of God, Church of God, Oneness Pentecostals etc…

   ?Sanctified by the blood of Christ that purified the Soul.
   ?Purified by full immersion water baptism dying to the flesh (spirit of mankind) being raised again a new creature in Christ, receiving the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
   ?Justified by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the will and purpose of God, as I can do nothing of myself.

   The thief on the Cross was not baptised though there was no need for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as he was about to die.

   God will show mercy and compassion to whomever He wills and the thief on the Cross declared that he believed in Christ and confessed with his mouth.

   God judges also the content of the heart and it motivation right up to the point of death.

   While you have opportunity to be sanctified, purified and Justified, I would do so as you need oil in your lamp.

   Water Baptism in NOT Christian. It is a Jewish ritual.

   Believe + baptism = salvation

   Not

   Believe =salvation + baptism

   I believe the Lord not men!!

   Only group yhsfvtrzchrd one must be water baptized are Oneness churches in name of Jesus only and must also speak in tongues!

   I don’t know why there is a rush on to deny full immersion water baptism of late, though I’m not surprised in the season of the last days there will be increased false teachings and doctrine.

   What saves you is when God calls you and you respond, follow the examples provided in scripture.

   Sanctified, purified and Justified is one salvation and the Word “baptism” means purification!

   What is Purified is the question you should be asking as many were baptised pre and post Christ and even Christ Himself.

   For people to say Water Baptism is not required, then they obviously have no clue what they are talking about and deceived many.

   “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins” (Acts 2:38).

   “Those who received his word were baptized” (Acts 2:41).

   “When they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Even Simon himself believed, and after being baptized he continued with Philip” (Acts 8:12–13).

    Dudes, Baptism does not save. We are saved by Grace through faith. If Baptism is mandatory to salvation then how could the criminal on the cross be with Jesus in paradise? Baptism is an act of obedience and a public declaration. https://hillsong.com/faith/baptism/

    Baptism

    Water Baptism adds nothing to salvation.
    There was a baptism of John the Baptizer which was a preparation unto repentance.
    Mt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit
    In the process of salvation we are baptized by Christ with the indwelling Holy Spirit unto newness of life. Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
    Joh 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit
    . Mr 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

    We are baptized into the body of Christ by the holy Spirit.

    At this moment we are born again and have become children of God and we have everlasting life. We follow the command of Christ in water baptism as a symbol of what has happened to us spiritually and as our testimony and our first step of obedience in the Christian life..
