There is excitement here. Colorful flashing lights, high tech sound system, music band, black walls and ceiling. However is this a true moving of the Spirit? The volume is loud and Kaci is “working the crowd” in frantic emotionalism.
When I was growing up any trying to work up a crowd was frowned upon. We knew the real move of God from the artificial. I doubt that anyone in this crowd knows the difference.
Oh that “working up a crowd” was frowned upon today. The “world” has not place in the santuary. I don’t care how your 7-11 songs are.

When I was growing up we did frown on anyone who we believed was working up the crowd. While we were emotional and Pentecostal we did know the difference and seems no one today recognizes this. It is the way of modern worship and is worst than ever before.
In the last service I attended at my home church the guest worship leader did his best to work up the congregation and was discouraged and you could see that he thought the congregation was dead. He should have been with us in the previous Sunday service!!
He was a a “Todd Bentley” wanna be. Maybe they didn’t like the pierced ears and body tattoos!
My thoughts? What a joke! I cannot understand for the life of me why the CoG would permit such a “so-called” worship. Why do they not use the name CoG along with their City Life? If this is what the CoG has become, I would be ashamed to ever have been affiliated with such a church organization.
I would not walk across the street to go to a church like what I see on this YouTube video.
I love singing out if the red book. I don’t want flashing lights, one line songs and overly loud music. Give me a piano, drums, string instruments and accordion. Let the Holy Spirit move. Yes I’m old fashion COG.
The Neomusic is a lot of contention. It is being forced upon church members who do not want it. The younger people are forcefully taking

Everyone to their own thoughts. I am sure that some people enjoy the above type of worship. But as for me, I do not care for it at all.
