This group IS Christian Apologetics…which means other beliefs SHOULD be in here otherwise the Apologetics part would defeat the purpose. All believers and nonbelievers should be in this group. Because this is a CHRISTIAN Apologetics group you MUST have strong wisdom and knowledge of the Word of God to defend Christianity. If you don’t or you feel stressed by other’s statements you should avoid posting in here and/or remove yourself from the group. I recommend taking a Christian Apologetics class, let alone “Googling” what Apologetics is because many of you joined without understand what this group entailed. Strengthen yourself and earn ranking in the Spiritual realm before posting because if you’re stressed enough about being around Muslims then you are a great candidate for the enemy to convert you to false teachings. Be very careful!

Chick.com Bible Tracts (in comic format, I.e. with pictures to attract more readers). Full of scripture and pointing out false doctrines taught by devils. “Are Roman Catholics Christians?” Is a poignant tract and critical reading for salvation. ❤️

I disagree. Iron sharpens iron. How are Christians (new and old alike) supposed to learn the rational defense of the faith they have. When under the scrutiny of other religions and non-believers? There are pages for apologist to debate other regions and non believer.

This seems to be a page to teach apologetics to other believers.

And your statements contradict each other. You say we must have strong Christian apologetics to be here but then say other religions and non believers should be here (then they should be required to have a strong Christian apologetics background too, by your own statement).

I agree. God’s Word does not return to Him void. There’s no downside to letting Muslims see us reason together. Let’s be Christ-like to each other and the unbelievers too. No one is required to answer any questions that they feel are unwarranted. But let’s not forget that there are souls here in need of saving, so let’s not shut the door on them.

I see it both ways.. I totally agree with you that Christians need to prepare and grow in their knowledge of scripture, we are instructed to do that. Christians absolutely have to have a solid foundation and wisdom of Christ and the Bible when they go into the world of mostly nonbelievers.
At the same time.. Christians and non-Christians together in an apologetic group can have a negative impact on the gospel actually being presented in its entirety to those non-believers. Apologetics is meant to be about debate, but unfortunately it has commonly become a field of arguing and disputes, and sadly, a field of proving who’s ideas/interpretations are more right instead of strengthening one another as one body in Christ. When non-believers see these senseless and prideful arguments and Christians tearing other Christians down, it paints a false picture of Christ. It turns them away from the gospel. Why become a believer if Christians themselves can’t even agree about what is right or wrong?

I do feel stress, because I care. If you want others to here what you say, you have to be prepared to listen without being deliberately offencive.

Brittney, your point is extremely well made. In fact my postings have been censored in this group. This was approved last night and ten minutes later I checked and it wasn’t on here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1493330220801352/search/?query=Leonard%20Alt&epa=SEARCH_BOX
