How can we not believe in demons when scripture tells us to watch out for demons and that Christ and the apostle’s drove out multitudes of demons. Eg the ones that called them selves legion. ( Mark 5)

Demon possession is very rare.
Its more common in Haiti.
They worship the devil there.Catholics there have services and do witchcraft too.
Witchcraft is part of the Haitian culture and the Catholic Church takes on the culture of where they’re located at.In Mexico they will celebrate day of the dead.

I’m not an advocate for Demons, but these things exist… Truth be told. And they’re very common. You won’t be aware if you’re not informed…. Not believing they exist is a Demonic Manipulation because they’ll operate in your life without you knowing the source…

I know too much about demons. I’ve been at war with demons since I was raised from the dead as a child. Getting a hold of the Holy Spirit and quoting Scriptures at them are the only things that has worked. When they come after you only God can help you. But God will help you if you are in fellowship with him. Things don’t work the way the tent evangelist would have you believe. So don’t go around commanding them because you can get into some real trouble that way. Instead get on your knee’s and start praying until the Holy Spirit moves. God will fight your battles for you and they will run like the cockroaches they?. But remember you must do what ever it takes to be in fellowship with God. I’m not talking about tv demons, I’m talking about the real thing ?.

Question I’ve pondered on this.
So the general consensus is that the biggest success the devil has is convincing people he doesn’t actually exist.
It would seem counterproductive to have a bunch of demons running around possessing folks. Verifiable proof of demons=verifiable proof of Satan=verified proof of God.

Those who “mock” that there’s no such thing as demons are leaving themselves open for demonic attack.

I think maybe a better point is that lost people are children of the devil. God declares in his word that those do the work of the devil have the devil as their father, and it’s not satanism, it’s actually just worshipping self and letting Satan control you. So, yes it’s much more likely for the devil to be pulling your puppet strings if you don’t believe in him, but also that doesn’t mean you’re actually possessed. However, even Christians the deny their existence are much more open to oppression, and Satan influencing them cuz they don’t even realize how big of an influence the devil is. Now, maybe were actually saying the same thing here, and it’s not coming out all that well on your end, AKA people don’t understand what you mean, or maybe you’re just taking an argument too far.

I grew up an atheist. I was convinced that the devil did not exist and I publicly proclaimed it. He was my “best buddy” and I did not even realize it! Thanks be to God that I gave my life to Jesus in 1991. The devil is called the “god of this world” for a reason. We, as Christians, are behind enemy lines in a spiritual war-zone. The devil loves it when Christians run around blaming every bad thing that happens on God.
John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
I heard a very clear word from God about 20 years ago. One simple statement- “It grieves me when I get blamed for acts of satan” -
Quite a logical disconnect there…

I think all who believe in God, believe also in satan, devil or demons. sometimes it only have different definitions. like for example; for others, satan is a supernatural being. while other define satan as a hebrew word for adversary. e.g. Matthew 16, Peter became satan to Jesus.
