Also, this isn’t a book, but if you search YouTube “why I believe the Bible – Voddie Bauchum” , it’s an absolutely amazing lecture on the authenticity and reliability of the Scriptures.

Honestly… If you want to learn apologetics then start with the church in which you attend, and start asking “Why?” About everything. There’s no better place to start than right there.

William Lane Craig’s Wallace Warner Lee Strobel. Highly recommend Lee Strobel, his books helped me answer many questions. He also has references in his books along with other book writers in Christian Apologetics.

Lee Strobel’s case for Christ is a fairly easy read and thoughtful. J Warner Wallace’s Cold Case Christianity is similar in ease and quality content.

This is not an apologetics book but one that every Christian should read.

I recommend folks start with Tactics by Koukl, then Cold Case Christianity by J. Warner Wallace then go through I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist by Giesler and Turek. All are essentials.

Another vote for Tactics by Greg Koukl. Francis Schaeffer’s Trilogy is a fantastic introduction to presuppositional apologetics.

The King James only Controversy is something you will definitely need. -
Mama bear apologetics, even if you don’t have kids or you’re a dad, it’s a great book on the basics of apologetics, it opened my eyes to concepts like “literary theft”.
