What do you think about Near Death Experiences? Are they proof of what happens when we die?

No. By its own term it’s a *near* death experience. Not death.

No. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. it is appointed one time for man to die and then after this the judgement. Near-death experiences are nothing.

thwmey only prove you had an experience. That in itzelf means nothing. ook have been written on this subject. They seem seem to happen in periodically.

I think the anecdotal evidence is convincing. At the very least it proves we have a soul. Gary Habermas has studied this extensively and written about it

People in demonic eastern religion often have near death experience and they would tell you how they felt “at peace” and the light at the end of the “tunnel”. What does that tell you.

No NEED to concern oneself with such things. How would it change your walk one way or another? If in doubt, why pay any attention to it? Doesn’t matter. People have to understand that especially with medical technology today, you can be ‘fully dead’ and depending on conditions, they can bring you back with a little warming up and a jolt of electricity to the heart.
Find me a ‘brain dead’ person with an NDE, and maybe we’d be onto something.

It proves there is God. Those who experience it, like me, get to talk with the creator in a full white bright light setting.
He is just a voice. In a gist I blurted out I have no wish to die, that he gives me a mission on earth, he the told me to turn about, and all came dark, as if I’m walking on a dark tunnel towards a distant light.
As I Drew near, and emerged to light, I was in the sick room. They told me they gave me up for dead 7 hours ago.
I was then 9 years old. I subsequenty should have been dead ten times over after that, but angel appear and rescue me each last moment.

I have noticed that some of the bases that people are using to dismiss NDEs are the same as unbelievers use to dismiss the accounts of Christ’s resurrection. Isn’t the Christian faith dependent on the spiritual experiences of others that have been passed down? We say these were eyewitnesses, but atheists say they were hallucinations.
