Praying, reading Gods Word. Listening and following the Holy Spirit.

Seek the Lord daily. Spend time reading or listening to his word. I like watching Christian apologetic videos on youtube, praying throughout the day as if I were having a conversation with God, listening to Christian music, reading the Bible daily, reading christian books, church every week, discussing Jesus with believers and non-believers, service to others is good too. Turn away from sin and things that are not of God. Sin separates us from the Lord. Compare your relationship with Jesus as you would your relationships with your loved ones. When you love someone you nurture that relationship, if you don’t you grow apart. Therefore one must set aside time to spend with Jesus. Show that he is worthy of your time he is most worthy. To me nothing is more fulfilling than that time. It feels my cup and I feel the fruits of the spirit when I make the effort to nurture the relationship. Nothing else can satisfy. We can try to make other things the gods of our lives but nothing else can compare.

Through faith. Get close to Jesus and stay busy employing everything Paul, Peter, John and James (and any others) say to the post-cross saints. Sing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Edify each other. Pray without stopping.. Read the Bible more than asking us, and don’t look for any loopholes – ask God to give you the wisdom to understand and the preachers who will tell you what it means and the strength to do it. Then just delight in seeing Him work out His great salvation as you work it out in faith. Whatever is not of faith is sin.

What do you mean, walk in the spirit? Do you mean walking in the spirit of the law opposed to the letter of the law?

  7. Larry SMith says:

I think the only way is to see Jesus in every situation and remain thankful.
