We don’t know and it’s not going to affect anything if we don’t know this. Will it help you if you know?

  9. Matthew Siloterio says:

When you’re able to rise rom the dead, procuring clothes isn’t something to worry about.

  10. Ayuba Danjuma says:

Isn’t the death wrapped in clothes, study cultures of biblical times in John 11:44 when he rose Lazarus Jesus said they should loose him from his grave clothes, which he was buried with.

  11. Emad Yousif Jamil says:

From where do you get these questions ?

  12. Arnel Paje says:

John 21:25 – Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

When the Bible is silent, please be silent.

    God bless ?

  13. Stephen Atkins says:

If God can raise someone the dead, I am sure he can provide clothes.

Did you ask him for yourself? The primary source? Much easier, quicker and effective.

  15. Matthew Wood says:

Maybe he just banged out in the clothes he was wrapped in then his disciples gave him some more? Or just naked for a bit?

  16. Jib Jaw says:

Remember, the wrapped him up with new clothes just like they dress us up in today’s world when we get buried. That’s how Jesus got his clothes after his resurrection.

  19. Revence J Kalibwani Ssalongo says:

Good question. The power and miracle of resurrection involved quick healing from the hunger and injury he suffered on the cross oas well as clothing himself.

  20. Johny Goodwin says:

He could walk through walls, getting some clothes is rather simple compared to that

  21. Nicholas Garrett says:

Read about nakedness in the book of genesis, the association of purity with nakedness, the association of sin with shame and covering/leaves/skins. This is the understanding of these elements in the third dimension. The Bible seems to indicate perception is different in higher dimensions. What mention of clothes during the transfiguration? I can’t recall. Clothes are shed in resurrection. Out of respectful curiosity is the original post asked by a Muslim? I find that they ask very literal questions, questions so literal that one can find themselves lost from the premise of the Christian faith and worldview altogether. Warm regards.

Why is this even relevant!! Sounds to me like wanting to start an argument and we’re not to do that!!

  24. Gerry Sebastian says:

what is your answer to your question?

  25. Motsoane Katleho Moalosi says:

And why did he take his body to heaven yet people say heaven is for souls

  26. Nicholas Garrett says:

It seems to me questions such as these bog one down in the meaningless minutia, giving the benefit of ignoring the clear logical reality of the big questions. They point to the fact that at its core Christianity is the objective truth. I’m not saying christians don’t have a wide range of subjective experiences – i’m talking about the core fundamentals. somehow every Christian no matter their training is supposed to be able to answer for Christianity as religion, movement, and worldview in the new social media world even though those three things are different.

    Please capitalize “Christ”

  29. Ed Atkinson says:

I have heard it suggested that he got the spare clothes from the gardeners shed. That is why Mary mistook him. I kid you not.

I would add … where was Jesus between appearances and before the ascension? In heaven? Hiding on earth? A body-less soul/spirit on earth? Nothing really works for me.

You ask a funny question some time, is grave not a house, when he was talking to the grave he was not naked the same body never stinking nor body decade that was the body that received life, again he slept not dead.

  35. Kay Bee Suzy says:

    Stupid question?

  36. Achilles Imson Jesuitas says:

Why are we limiting God’s power by the limitation of our mind?

“For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.”

If God can create a man from stones, can’t He make clothes for Jesus?
