    I have been in church services in a few countries. Some were in grand, beautiful, cathedrals. Others were the “C” type of church. The one I remember the most is one where we held services on the side of a mountain plain, surrounded by clouds and cows. I really remember the cows! lol! They were just so calm and placid.

    Interesting fact. Most people these days are not saved in a church setting.

    Actually Jesus was everywhere, outside, by the ocean, in the synagogues… Everywhere he was found preaching and everyone followed Him.

    Jesus Christ lives in each believer who obeys him. Each believer is a building stone in his church.

    Wherever the people there are worshipping Him in Spirit and in truth, some people can be in a depilated structure and still have pride and unforgiveness in their heart, having wealth in a genuine way is not a sin

    Person who put up the original post/ asked the question obviously doesn’t understand what pleases God. Nothing to do with how the building looks. Fancy or not has nothing to do with it. I was just thinking about the temple that Solomon built. God asked for the temple to be built. It was full of gold and built from the finest building materials.

    Jesus would not have made a fuss about it as long as worship was in spirit and truth. His truth. We are the ones who fuss about such things. He makes holy while we defile.
