None
Eastern Orthodox is probably the closest as it’s roots are in the original Catholic Church.
Or Eastern Rite Roman Catholic which is very similar to EO
Ironically enough. It sure isn’t any type of Pentecostal or Charismatic church. #Nosteen!!!
Independent Baptists – their doctrinal statement mirrors the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Certainly each local assembly would have to be scrutinized to know if their doctrine is sound of if they are falling into apostasy.
The Apostles all taught the same doctrines in unity that they had received from Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
None of them
Even as a non-Orthodox, Protestant Christian, I think I’d have to say Eastern Orthodoxy!
Who cares follow a Christ centered Bible believing one
We have no idea. The early church’s main component is the same as today’s church: sinners. Saying the early church was closer to God is wrong.
I appreciate churches that teach with discernment and have communion every week.
Why pick this fight right now when we should be unified in prayer for our nation?
House churches, and then the open Christian Brethren, but truthfully, no institutional church is close to the primitive church
If by “early apostles” you mean the ones in the Bible then I would say house churches with an eldership.
The Orthodox, Catholic, Lutheran or Anglican Churches
The 7 churches in revelation is what all the churches today are like.
The Spiritual Church of Christ has never Changed.
Home church’s preaching the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ crucified, the mystery of the grace of God…kjv thank u!
none since that early manifestation of Heaven on earth was temporary, local and temporary until the sin of deceit and greed and pride began creeping in in Acts 5 till it morphed into the obvious impurity the world now sees. But Jesus is still sovereign over the affairs of His Church.
well which local early church? The Corinthian church is not one I would to attend!!
Didn’t they meet at people’s houses back then?
None, nor should we expect them to be. Which adult in our circle looks most like they way they did as an infant?
The ancient church and churches now are made up of born again believers in Jesus Christ. To try and see who does it better is the same as the apostles arguing who was most important, the day before their Lord was being sacrificed for their sins! Your knowledge in this area doesn’t matter or glorify God.
None! That is partly why we are so ineffective at being the visible representation of Christ on earth!
NONE that’s the problem !!
I’m not sure which churches the early apostles would attend today if they were here as today’s churches are deep in their own traditions and dogma that differ from the early churches.
small home churches
The rreason why we are so far from what the early church had is that today we don’t know the Holy Ghost anymore we are not walking intimately with Him
if we want to bridge the gap lets go and know the Holy Ghost
There were many different sects and books of early Christianity going in all different directions. It’s the main reason Roman Emperor Constantine summoned Christian Bishops to construct the Bible in the first place.
Anglican.
One that is not 501-C3 and where Jesus Christ is the head
I read a while back that missionary ministries are most comparable.
Any Bible based church that equips its people to spread the gospel.
The Holy Spirit works and fills people in the same way. If the Holy Spirit is present, then Yes!
Word of faith
Baptist. The only denomination to have not had anything to do with the Catholic Church.
Whoever is closest to Jesus
None.
Those that love one another
The small Ethiopian ones.
The entire body of believers and no building. One mind one body one head.
Church of Christ
During the Apostles time, a true believer was saved by the grace of God through Faith. The same truth applies for true believers today. The roofs of Church building gatherings might have looked different then as they do now. Doesn’t count for anything. What counts is that Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Those whose church who follow Christ’ teachings.
Reformed churches
None of them!
At this point in church history , I would have to say none them .
The Apostolic church. They preach what is required to be saved. John 3:5, Acts 2:38.
Can a person be a 1 body ? of Christs Church ? I can’t be bothered researching churches in South Auckland New Zealand.. Tooo many prosperity teachings lol
Jesus is not coming back for a domination but he is coming back for a church the church will be one that follows his word and you have a relationship with him it will not be any denomination or any particular Church it will be a body of believers who are sold out for Christ
