Excellent book from a wonderful brother in Christ… chronicling his journey from angry atheist to believer using his Pulitzer prize winning skill. The movie is also very good.

The original book is a great read; but even as a believer … I would also recommend Robert Prices’ book on the Case Against the Case for Christ. I never could finish it because the guy would state something about a church father and then wouldn’t even cite the passage. I hope to be able to read it sometime; but usually I only read something to have God let me ask my questions to Him and He shows me the way.

I loved Case for Christ. Case for Faith was more philosophical with less evidence. Case for a Creator is good (reading now), but it’s basically a science textbook. “For Christ” is definitely my favorite so far.
Anyone read “The Case for Miracles”? That’s next on my list.

The Case for Christ truly is an all-consuming account of one person’s struggle for a clear, concise understanding and believed desire for an ultimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Though being a legalistic journalist and my being a retired paralegal. Strobel’s quest for knowledge based on his own experiences and those of others presents a compelling case for Christ and Christianity. Throughout the Case for Christ, Strobel’s practical approach from the examination, analyzing, and research, his interviewing biblical scholars along with his familiarity based his courtroom related investigations. Strobel’s unraveling establishment for a Case for Christ truly is remarkable with an elemental compassionate perception of the legal profession with its complexities. Strobel’s approach removes any doubt, disquiets any suspicions one might have while setting a balanced foundation for clarity should others have any similar or unrelated concerns.
Reviewing Strobel’s approach in the Case for Christ, the eyewitness and documentary evidence would be sufficient; however, the incorporation of corroborating and scientific evidence removes any doubts as to the validity of Strobel’s presentation. Nevertheless, Strobel goes beyond the norm while profiling the psychological and fingerprint identity of Jesus’ life, death, and Resurrection. Therein the Resurrection is decisively established through medical evidence coupled with refuting any misgivings related to Jesus’ missing body and the empty tomb because of circumstantial evidence based on those mentioned above along with historical fact.
When considering eyewitness accounts, Strobel recognized the necessity of relying on the person(s) who can testify as to what directly observed. Strobel does this with excellence when interviewing Craig Blomberg, considered one of the foremost authorities related to the biographies of Jesus. Moreland who concluded indicating the necessity to—use your mind calmly and weigh the evidence, and then let experience be a confirming piece of evidence. If what this evidence points to is true—that is, if all these lines of evidence do point to the Resurrection of Jesus—the evidence itself begs for an experiential test.
