Monica Infante Bartsch-Bersales – can you give examples of the “many issues surrounding them” are you referring to? Historically – the Puritans were English believers who sought to further reform the Church of England because they thought its beliefs were too Catholic.
If their beliefs align with the Bible, sure
The puritans were persecuted, imprisoned, and burned for believing the Bible…Tyndale was burned at the stake in front of his own church because he translated the Bible into English…Bunyan spent over twelve years for preaching the gospel…the puritans finally left England for America…they settled New England and many of the colonies…read about their history…
