Why are the scriptures soo limited on the subject of the Holy Spirit having independent personality in the Trinity? This is a Trinitariun question. I think of it as the Fathers spirit but I also know receiving Jesus brings the Holy Spirit as well..

If there was such a thing as a gospel of the Holy Spirit it would be in Acts. Nearly every chapter the Holy Spirit is doing something. You also get some details in John during the Upper Room Discourse.

John 14:26 – “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The Holy Spirit speaks the things of Christ – that’s what He is doing now. I think He hides His own personality from us in order to do that job.
