Why would God allow a person to be deceived? And how would God intervene?

The Bible in Rev. 12:9 says that“the Devil has deceived the WHOLE WORLD”
Which means MOST of the world is DECEIVED…

Our sins and stubbornness blind our eyes and close our ears to God. Our pride rejects God and turns our backs to him.
When we do not see God, do not hear God, and do not face in his direction, we see only the antithesis of God, the Deceiver. The Deceiver becomes our only reality.
God has already intervened through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we do not believe, we remain deceived. -
Why?
We have enough information to guess but not enough to know.
And if we don’t have the information, it’s ok to ponder but it’s not ok to make doctrine.

We decieve our selves and God intervenes when you’re broken and crying out to him. That’s one way ??

Because we are not a robot, but He is so graciously give battery when we are lowbat.

Discipline and judgment. Some don’t study and will fall for anything. Like faith healers.

Short answer? Because they are perishing.
“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

God wants them to choose Him over their sin and the doctrines and beliefs of the Word. When we seek after these things of the world and the flesh we deceive ourselves by indulging in them. God does not force us.

I don’t know but I believe in the restoration of all things. ♥️♥️♥️Acts 3:21 whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.

I’m more concerned with why God allows children to be raped.

He allows it because he allows people to believe what they want to believe.
When your mind is made up in untruth, you are blind.

Everything we experience is either a lesson or a blessing, or both. We must pray for wisdom and discernment. God bless

I consider that being the price paid for failing to mature your faith. If one is truly saved, lives within the faith, listens to the spirit within, knows their bible, listens to sermons from scripturally sound preachers, listens to authoritative Christians speakers about the gospel, they can spot a wolf from a field away. Those lacking maturity and the desire to seek it are the ones deceived. That right there is the truth.

Many use deception for their own advantage.Think…
a young man deceives a young woman, impregnates her and abandons her and their child.
He got what he wanted.
A elected official sees a need and identifies a voting bloc, young unwed mothers who believe the government should take care of them.
The elected official gets what he wanted all the while claiming to care.
Innocent tax payers pay for the consequences of that young man’s deception.
The cost of someone’s immorality is passed to innocent people.
Not surprisingly, the elected official encourages this type of behavior that burdens so many. -
Do people ask themselves why won’t I listen until it is too late? Most often we shrug it off and dismiss others when they present their case. I’ve see too many people calling others idiot, you are wrong and tinfoil conspiracy nutcase. So how can we blame God when we ourselves don’t want to listen.
The bible had plenty of warning to Israel and yet they don’t listen until it is too late. Let that be a lesson to everyone. God warn people and the prophecy of the end time is just that…however it is up to each believer to take it seriously and don’t reject it.

God allowed the Pharisees eyes to remain blind to His truth, in order to provide salvation to the Gentiles as well as to the Jews. We are unable to fully comprehend or put into a box the plans and intentions of God, although this doesn’t stop us from continually trying to. Even when I do not understand my God, I will trust Him and turn to Him.
