  2. Fred Santana says:

I think my friend Ron Morales said it best:

“I’ve considered other world views and find the Christian world view the best at explaining everything important in life, from meaning to morality to my emotional world to the origin of the universe and our place within it.”

  3. Tobias Morgan says:

Because I’ve seen the wonders of the earth I’ve breathed air with my lungs and seen with my eyes everyday what I see bares witness to a creator.

  5. W Lamar Prioleau says:

No scientist can explain why my heart continues to beat. There are literally thousands of questions about life like this one that cannot be answered with conventional wisdom or education.

Because He lives within my heart and soul, He is personal to me

Taco Tuesdays…no mere mortal thought that one up!

  10. Caleb Jackson says:

The historical facts surrounding Jesus, the existence of personal objective morality, belief in agency is a properly basic belief for humans.

I’ll throw in the ontological argument too

  11. Julie Waschuk says:

I believed because He called me to Him. I know it’s true because of all the evidence.

  12. Wynni Wagner says:

I look at the complexity of life from the heavens ,creatures and atoms and I know they have a designer. It is scientifically proven that something cant come from nothing

  13. Jim Lee says:

To specifically answer your question of there being other arguments beside the cosmological and the teleological, there is the ontological argument, which says that since practically all humanity believes intuitively that there is at least one being who is greater than we are, there must be one who exists who is supreme above all others.

  14. Marshall Courtney Sr. says:

Because nothing and not produce something non-life cannot produce life and Conformity cannot come from complete chaos

  15. Shane Reynolds says:

There is too much order for all this to be chance. Darwinists need you to believe the Earth is millions of years old because that’s how we rationalize that all this happened randomly.

  16. Dave Van Huffel says:

    Agape in Devine providence.

  17. Kevin Moldenhauer says:

…because I’ve met Him. A person with an experience is not at the mercy of a person with an argument. Even before that, it was very difficult to deny the amazing complexity around me without jumping through heaps of intellectual hoops.

  22. Danes Mañosca says:

    Because He revealed Himself.

  23. Andrew Westerhof says:

Because my ears were open to the gospel when I heard it, and by the hearing of it I believed.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)

  24. Tony Xavier says:

Because it’s more of a personal relationship with that supreme being, that being called YHWH or El, the experiences I’ve been thru can only show/tell me that He is real, no one, not even I could have survived a number of suicide attempts or trained soldiers entering the family home with ill-intent, and still survived.

What is your reasoning that you don’t believe??

  25. Greg Barolet says:

Because from goo to you via the zoo is a mental illness.

The birth, life, resurrection, and ascension into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father.

Because of his influence in my life through God The Holy Spirit. Also, environmentally. Our placement in space. Our atmosphere. The intricacy of the animal kingdom and humanity points to a creator. Random chance could not produce what we have.

  32. John Marquis says:

I usually appeal to arguments from science. Firstly because it is the perspective most skeptics come from. Secondly, because some many scientific facts have been conveniently excluded starting with the mathematically astronomical impossibility of the universe coming into existence by chance!

  33. Lunard Lewis says:

For the Bible tells me so.

  34. Michael Burton says:

In order to live your best life you need to set an aim higher then your yourself. The ultimate aim is one of a supreme being. Ancient texts are all pathways to reach that aim.

  35. Herb Van Schoick says:

I always thought the best argument for God was that we continue to talk about him and argue about him all the time. Even atheists are continually going on about this whole notion of God and how he cannot exist. I never saw anyone try so hard to prove or disprove fiction.

  36. Christopher Courington says:

Historically oh, God, gods, goddesses, and other Supreme deities have been found across all people groups oh, and all cultures. There is not a single culture that we know of that has no idea or concept of a supreme deity like being. It is ground into the very fiber of our being to instinctively know this concept. The only place that atheism Rises, are places with massive human advancements, allowing humans to try to assume the role of God in their specific societies. The very nature of a deity is so bound to our wiring that we cannot even conceptualize a world where people have no concept of what a God might be like

  42. Shane Johnson says:

I believe because God called me to believe … The Holy Spirit gave me eyes to see and ears to hear .. God granted my regenerate heart faith and I believed … plus it takes alot more fairh to think all this creation can happen by random chance

  43. Forest George says:

    Because nothing else makes sense.

  44. Mike Frye says:

    Because of an empty tomb.

  45. Steve Morris says:

Because He chose me. He pursued me.

  46. Roxta Gibbons says:

The Biblical prophecies. Very, very convincing. No one beats God in predicting future events.

  47. Lindsay Teresa says:

I had to post this song with the lyrics because it just fits the answer to the question so perfectly. But as for me…my own miraculous (I mean I lost count of how many there were so many…and still counting), life is a testimony to Jesus being The One True God. I would NEVER, EVER recommend finding out the way I learned that absolute Truth. But that’s why I am still living, so every life I can impact doesn’t have to suffer so much or perhaps has a better chance at surviving here and then having an eternity with The One True God Who they’ve only been recking their lives trying to find anyway.

  48. Mark Fonner says:

Why do I believe in a Supreme Being?

    Order in the Universe.
The connectivity of all lifeforms that we currently know.
    DNA
    Design

  49. Michael Utley says:

I believe in God because of His written Word. The more I study, the more He becomes real to me

  50. Kate Marie Wendi says:

Jesus Christ human history is divided by his first advent and human history will be consummated by his second advent. What other human being commands such monumental consequences of belief. Without him you can do nothing. He was either right or wrong. If wrong, deluded with his own lies or lying mad. The latter no hope. The former all hope if glory for measured time and the unmeasurable time to come.
