It all began as a teenager, experimenting with writing poetry. Award winning Author & Speaker, Derwin Boyd studied Mass Communications at UC Davis, CA. His work as a poet has had a major impact on his life and the lives of those around him. Especially proud of involving young people in the creating process, Derwin has hosted open mics, taught poetry workshops, and even produced and hosted the radio show, The Gospel Express.
