Sorry, commenting was turned off while I was replying to your comment. I don’t know of any good books on Shamanism, but I do have this quote from Nikola Tesla…

“Science is opposed to theological dogmas because science is founded on fact. To me, the universe is simply a great machine which never came into being and never will end. The human being is no exception to the natural order. Man, like the universe, is a machine. Nothing enters our minds or determines our actions which is not directly or indirectly a response to stimuli beating upon our sense organs from without. Owing to the similarity of our construction and the sameness of our environment, we respond in like manner to similar stimuli, and from the concordance of our reactions, understanding is born. In the course of ages, mechanisms of infinite complexity are developed, but what we call ‘soul’ or ‘spirit,’ is nothing more than the sum of the functionings of the body. When this functioning ceases, the ‘soul’ or the ‘spirit’ ceases likewise.”

Don’t be misled by a well done picture.

I like Tesla’s ideas in science, guess not so much in Christianity

“To those searching for truth – not the truth of dogma and darkness but the truth brought by reason, search, examination, and inquiry, discipline is required. For faith, as well intentioned as it may be, must be built on facts, not fiction. Faith in fiction is a damnable false hope.”

The evolution of God is very interesting book. I wanted to ask with the conclusion that all we are is information in the quantum world. And in that aspect information cannot be created or destroyed. If our consciousness/spirit or whatever you wanna call it, is our information center. Thoughts on it not being able to be destroyed

Ava Reyes, can you please send me the picture shown in this post, please?

I am a fan or Tesla and am amazed by his intelligence, however, I disagree with his conclusion on the soul. I believe our soul is a creation of our mind and the fragment of God we all have in us. It is the soul along with personality that survives.

Its not science that oppose God. Its the worldview 🙂 if someone love to sin, of course she doesnt want anyone to intervene

And only one of those does God offer us the free gift of eternal life by grace through faith, not through works, so that we can come into an eternal relationship with him starting now

What, God’s? There’s only one, so you’re more than likely referring to small g gods, where many of those can be replaced, as you said!

    Greeks, meaning gentiles:

“Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom. So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense.”

This chart doesn’t make sense. Is this a class project from a student?

But you dont know if what he is saying its truth, you’re just reapeating what he said because you choose to believe Tesla, and thats an act of faith. Plus its a fallacy to believe that science has all the answers and they dont make mistakes. Also its not truth that all scientist are atheist.

Major survey reveals that it’s atheists who perpetuate the conflict between religious belief and science………………;https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/sep/16/would-you-adam-and-eve-it-why-creation-story-is-at-heart-of-a-new-spiritual-divide

Man, all I see in this thread is regurgitation of what y’all have been told. It really boils down to what we WANT to believe. This woman decided she didn’t want to believe in YHWH. So she hangs on the words of others who deny Him. It makes her feel better to not believe… sort of like Christianity does for us Christians. I could poke holes in her supposition here, how she relies on something presenting itself as truth, but why? She won’t budge. She’ll only fight, and we all know it’s easier to knock someone off of a chair than to lift them up onto it.

Doesn’t the study of the cosmos point to a beginning of the Universe?

Science is not fact but an organized process seeking to determine fact

Did Nikola Tesla save mankind and rise from the dead? Did he perform countless miracles and fulfill hundreds of prophecies? So why would one ever bet his life on this guy?

  30. Paul Norman Hanover says:

Nikola Tesla is just another Tony Stark, brilliant and brilliantly talented, but, in the end, just so prideful in his own intellect and ego that he spends his whole life tripping over his own brain and making a fool of himself. Intelligence can cripple you if it makes you too oblivious to truth. Smart men often pride themselves in being too elitist for the known truth of the common man.

I suggest you watch this video because this explains a lot about the history of religions :).

Shamanism was originally linked with totemism and ancestor worship. It involves reaching altered states of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with the spirit world and channel these energies into this world to bring harmony. A clan ancestor would have a spirit animal and people would sacrifice plants, animals or people to keep them happy. It was thought that then the seasons would stay in harmony and the cosmic order too. There is lots on Google. Nowadays in reality, in the Western world it is often just an excuse to bully people about pretend problems, and then escape into fantasyland instead of apologising, then blame the person for not being spiritual enough. There is no moral compass just people projecting their own selfish crap onto the world. Total waste of time.

  33. Heather Erica Kennedy says:

Nicola Tesla never abandoned God. He was brought up Orthodox and brilliant at seeing God’s patterns. He said ” The gift of mental power comes from God, Divine Being, and if we concentrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great power. ” He was not saying people are divine. In later life he was more Buddhist but he never got rid of God totally. Good on him for seeking peace during times of war. I love Tesla. I love patterns too and the more I look at Tesla’s work the more I can see God’s scientific brain at work in patterns everywhere.
