    No thoughts on a nonChristian, or even a ‘lukewarm’ Christian, on God’s Word. They can’t know, they don’t have the spirit guiding their understanding.

    I find Ehrman’s honesty refreshing, and Geisler’s comments too tightly bound to a tradition that probably should be questioned.

    Geisler has no credibility seeing he makes his living defending a book that gives him a living. It’s like the drug company hawking their latest placebo pill that is not intended to treat or cure any disease.

    While Geisler thinks Ehrman’s motivations are subjective, what about problem within the Bible, what about problems with theology, what about the failure of the Holy Spirit to sanctify and lead believers in victorious triumph advancing the kingdom individually and corporately?
