The book of Tobit would say “giving alms” or tithing to atone for sins, which is outright false. The parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man proves that the doctrine of intercessory prayer for the dead, written in 2nd Maccabees chapter 12, is false. Other than that, there are contradictions in the apocrypha where Nebuchadnezzer was the king of Assyria, not Babylonia. The apocrypha is simply uninspired works by Jews during the intertestamental period

Read the book of John in the Bible. The Apocrypha is not the Bible!
