Probably. He was from the Ancient Near East
I love this! ❤ Yes, he was a Middle Eastern Jew NOT a European looking long blonde haired blue eyed British speaking stoic! ? This picture also resembles the Jesus portrayed in The Chosen…a Jewish man who is very personable, kind, and humble. Love love it! ❤
The Image is an example of the fayom portraits from Egypt.
They are basically realistic looking mummy masks (compared to King Tut’s mask for example).
They were found on mummies dating from around 100-200 AD.
They show realistic, staring-at-you Egyptian faces from almost 2000 years ago!!!
Very unique works of Egyptian art!
3D model from the shroud of Turin, seen a documentary about it, I found it curious…
Jesus has long blonde hair and blue eyes. I have a few of his portraits
Jesus description in Isaiah says He’s an ugly dude of no significant defining markers…slightly built, ugly, humble….
So Sly is a direct descendant?!?
“expert”
It’s a nice painting. I like the fact that he actually looks middle eastern.
But ultimately, her opinion on what Jesus looked like has no bearing on what he really looked like. It’s just her opinion.
Someday we will see him face to face, until then we can only imagine
