I find that is a very compelling argument. The problem with it is there have been people willing to die for false beliefs firmly believing them to be true.

Not to mention that each and everyone of the disciples were murdered because they would not re-can’t! One of them was drawn and quartered, and I think Paul was skinned alive!! Do you think that would make someone recant, but nope !

No one would stand witness if he knows it will cost his life…only fools and great liars do that.. even James the half brother of Jesus said he did not believe that Christ Jesus ended was the son of God not until he witness his crucifixion and resurrection.

Very interesting. As I pondered the significance of this, what popped into my head was how differently the premise was set.
The author states that he knows the resurrection to be “fact” rather than what I have mostly posed. I have always said the resurrection is” true.”
For some compelling reason, fact has a solid resonance for me that affirms the truth…..I have had it backwards all along. Thank you for this post. I am, in fact, more solidly grounded because of it.
